…please take a few moments to count your many blessings and to spare a thought for those who are struggling to come to terms with life, as their world falls apart around them………..

I would be happy to see the Binners survive another year in the Premiershite if it meant ManUre could be relegated.

Oi, Jimmy, I hear Rooney is a free agent if you are looking to sack Amorim before he breaks any more records.

Can history repeat itself??

ManUre's last game is at home to Villa. We just need Rashford to sign for Villa and to start practicing his back-heels.

Any club that cancelled concessions for loyal fans, for the global arse on seat, should be instantly shunned, (and there is more than one in the PL ).

Poll: No half measure either 1 or 2 ?

As I close in on my quest to complete ‘the 92’ I have suffered a few Premiership games this season and the atmosphere at some grounds is breathtakingly shocking. Even grounds like Newcastle are poor compared to the 80s/90s.

The worst by a country mile is the London Stadium. You have a cheap built stadium unfit for football, most of the crowd are so far from the pitch you’d see more on the telly, fickle moaning fans that were never that wonderful at Upton Park, shite transport links that means the ground is half empty after 85 mins and a mixture of prawn sarnie brigade and tourists whose only reason for being there is to put a photo on their social media account. Talk about football in a library, all you hear are the away fans. If it had happened to any other club, I would feel sorry for the supporters, (although I’m expecting Man City to be much the same if I ever get there).

The funniest thing by far is that West Hams rivals Tottenham have the most amazing stadium in the country (I’m not a Spurs fan at all) Any one who hasn’t been should go if they get the chance. It really is a ‘no expense spared’ stadium that is far better than any other in the UK. The famous beer glasses that fill from the bottom are just an example of how futuristic it is.

Putting my obvious allegiances aside, I honestly believe that, pound for pound, we have some of the best fans out of the 92. The BlueWhite Army have done a fantastic job and collectively deserve a place in the Col U Hall of Fame.

A former Colchester United player visited me on Christmas Eve. We spoke about the modern game and it's fair to say that we are rapidly losing interest in it - in particular the over hyped Premiership and all the hard sell marketing, brain washing, over excited commentary, rammed down the throat broadcasting and merchandising that goes with it.

Both of us have occasional opportunities for complimentary seats in boxes at London clubs, and although we appreciate the invitations the appeal has just burned out over the past decade.

We know broadcasters, and in particular, the BBC - both visual and audio, are desperate for audience interaction and it can become quite draining.
