In all the interviews I have seen with him he seems to be 'far too nice' to succeed as a football manager. He's apparently a very quiet person which doesn't lend itself to this job. I thought he may have found a good place at Plymouth but it seems he just doesn't have the skills or the bigger personality to be a football manager. One of my best friends will be gutted as he is a Stoke fan and they're at Plymouth tomorrow. He'll be even more gutted if Stoke appoint Rooney in the aftermath, which I wouldn't put beyond them. |  |
