Like many, I was fearing the worst after the defeat at Swansea but generally pleased with the performance. The combination of Field going off and wildly inconsistent referring in the 2nd half, helped swing the momentum in favour of Norwich.

Lets hope for a decent performance and result on Weds against Watford.

Our away fans are a bit of a breed aren't they. A real cut above. The team are so lucky to have them on their travels. I'd be surprised if some of the games don't kick off at 12.30am next season to cater for Sky's Asian and Australian customers. Absolutely ridiculous. The football community needs to sign a 3pm Saturday petition although I seem to remember one circulated a while back?

Great report and happy new year. Thanks for keeping us entertained and talking us off high ledges, which we are often perched upon.

Never knowingly right.
Poll: How long before new signings become quivering wrecks of the players they were?

Mate I'm perched on them myself, constantly.

I swear if you did play a half midnight Tuesday game at Preston we'd still take 700. I'd know them all by face as well.

It is really supportive as well. Got a bit toxic and angry out of lockdown but the away support is behind this team to the point of it being a bit weird.

Absolutely with you about the pissballing about at the back. Great stuff as usual. Hope you enjoyed your holiday.

Love the line on Guardiola - said to someone a few weeks back he’s the worst thing that ever happened to football.

Ah that made the day, another wonderful match report , another psychotherapeutic corrective experience that somehow relives cathartically the nightmarish and disappointing play we’ve come to expect and dread, and yet keep coming to watch. I admit I may have knocked over Delia’s table wine too but for a different reason

Cheers Clive. Happily take the point but classic QPR to get so close to all three.

Given both teams' current form the Watford game could be a total goat rodeo. No idea what to expect. Other than the 12.30 kick off putting a dent in the home support volume I reckon. Fcking Sky.

Poll: How old is everyone on here?

Brilliant report Clive - So good I had to read it twice.

Me and the kids watched nervously on TV - The wife kept coming into the front room to ask us to stop swearing or the neighbours would be complaining (again).

"FFS go long this time stop commiting suicide in our own penalty area" We shouted.

To be fair when we eventually went long it still kept coming back due to Frey's stiffness and lack of bodies around him.

My son now has a hole in his bedroom door following the Norwich equaliser.

Ah the joys of following our beloved Rangers......

The three o clock blanket ban on live coverage will disappear very soon.
It won’t affect our attendances or many others for that matter.

It wasn’t any better watching it live mate, but at they could hear us shouting at them to stop p@ssing around with it at the back.If I had any hair that hadn’t already turned grey,it certainly would’ve done by ft.
I even managed to break the seat in front of me ,but that was by me standing on it celebrating our goal. They’ve either got weak plastic seats up there or it’s time to go back to slimming world again.

Thanks again.

On that equalizer: First QPR had a great sequence and a shot on target is the least of what should have happened. That throw was another of the poor decisions but the 3rd part was the pedestrian contribution of Mads and Saito not making ANY effort to get in a challenge.

Actually, I've been meaning to start a thread on this. I live abroad and can't make any of the games (except I always seem to be around when we play bloody Norwich at home), but I remember a time when people were complaining about some away supporters being off their heads on coke and making the whole experience pretty unbearable.

So this has improved, as I haven't heard it talked about for quite some time?

Yeh, straight after lockdown it was a bit of a nasty nightmare.
Totally different vibe now.

Loved the bit at the end about the fans support, it really is bonkers, weird and bloody brilliant.

Great work Clive.
