They’ve named the kid. A quick google search shows that Rwandan media has been reporting on him for days. One says he was on a watch list anfter being expelled from school for carrying knives and had a strong belief that genocide should come to the UK as it did to Rwanda.
And they say it’s not terror related?

A similar quote on X seems to originate from a UK classmate, but I couldn't find any definitive information on the original source, and the post I found did not mention anything about the authorities keeping an eye on the youth.
Edit. As far as I can see after more searching is that the origin of this info is a Facebook account with the user name erased. I would say this is unreliable, but we'll see.

I haven't heard a link to autism before but I did suggest a scenario like Jonty Bravery at the Tate modern.
Either way he'll be locked up for life and if he is indeed autistic then the care and diagnosis he's received need to be looked at.
My wife has spent most of her career working with people with autism it's a massive spectrum of a condition. From just being slightly odd to very violent if triggered.
We saw one of her former clients who always had 2 to 1 care due to his behaviour walking around Fendrod lake a couple of weeks ago with just one young carer with him.
