Week 24 results

HUDDERSFIELD TOWN 1 PLYMOUTH ARGYLE 1

Ian Foster's first league game in charge of Plymouth ended in a draw, as they are still yet to win away this season. A great 8 got this spot-on, and one more had the outcome.

ROTHERHAM UNITED 0 STOKE CITY 1
Lewis Baker's piledriver was enough to maintain Stoke's undefeated start under new boss Steven Schumacher, as Rotherham fail to have a shot on target. 4 had this spot-on, and a further 12 got the outcome.

CAMBRIDGE UNITED 2 FLEETWOOD TOWN 1
Lyle Taylor scored a debut goal and Sully Kaikai hit a 91st minute winner as Cambridge beat the League One's bottom side. That late winner was good news for the 6 who got this spot-on, and the 17 who had the outcome.

READING 0 PORT VALE 0 ABANDONED Due to hundreds of Reading fans invading the pitch in the 16th minute in protest against Chinese owner Dai Yongge.

ACCRINGTON STANLEY 1 GILLINGHAM 2
Substitute Macauley Bonne fired the winner as Gillingham came from behind to win. Well done to burnsieespana for being the only one to have this spot-on, and only blueeagle and BFG got the outcome. 19 predicted a win for Accrington with 9 going for a 1-0 in what was the weeks most predicted score.

DONCASTER ROVERS 0 NEWPORT COUNTY 1
Seb Palmer-Houlden struck in the 93rd minute to give Newport a dramatic victory with their first shot on target. Only 2 got this spot-on, and 2 also had the outcome. 15 predicted a win for Doncaster.

With the Reading match being abandoned, the other five games produced a decent 21 spot-ons in total, and mainly thanks to that late winner for Cambridge, it was a reasonable week overall. Seven members did well to have two 3 pointers, with the best performance coming from wessex_exile, who got the Huddersfield 1-1 and the Newport 1-0, and the Stoke and Cambridge outcomes, to make him the weeks top scorer with a superb 8 points. Second best was concordman, who had the wins for Stoke and Cambridge, and the Newport outcome, to give him an excellent 7 points. The other five all got a decent 6 points. They were thrillseeker, who also had the wins for Stoke and Cambridge, Lewis_1, who got the wins for Cambridge and Newport, and RSCOSWORTH, Daniel and Colukev, who all had the Huddersfield 1-1 and the Cambridge 2-1. Best of those to have one 3 pointer was Sector4, who got the Huddersfield 1-1, and three outcomes, to give him a decent 6 points. Week 26 will now be a seven game week, to make up for the abandoned game this week.

Happy Cup The draw and fixtures for the Semi-finals will be out next Thursday, after the FA Cup 3rd Round replays have been played.

In the Premier This could turn out to be a defining week in the season, as the concordman lead was being slowly eroded away, but his excellent week has restored his lead back to a decent 9 points, as mfb_cufc could only reply with the Stoke and Cambridge outcomes. It was enough for him to remain in the other Charity Shield spot. Three outcomes for blueeagle, and he remains third. The decent week for thrillseeker moves him up a place to fourth. After Week 19 RSCOSWORTH looked like he was going to be involved in a relegation battle, but 37 points in the last 5 weeks since then, has moved him up to fifth, and to within 3 points of second place. Just the Stoke outcome for unitedwhites, and he drops to sixth, his lowest position since Week 8. The decent week for Sector4 moves him up a place, and thanks to having the Huddersfield 1-1 spot-on, oxfcolu also moves up a place. This means ghughes11 drops to a season low ninth. The lack of 3 pointers for noah4x4, has suddenly left him 8 points from safety. Firing a blank for the second week running, has left Moor_Pinot with a mountain to climb, if he is not to have an instant return to Division One.

In Division One The decent week for Daniel has restored his lead to a healthy 6 points, as Jorash63 could only manage to get the Cambridge outcome. It was enough for him to remain in the other automatic spot, but only on the most 3 pointer rule from bwildered, whose solid 5 points moved him up a place to a season high third. Despite having the Stoke 1-0 spot-on, basher2010 drops a place to fourth, but within a point to second. Three outcomes for Tropical_Us keeps him in fifth. A solid 5 points for burnsieespana moves him up a place, and back into the final play-off spot again. The decent week for Lewis_1 moves him up a couple of places to seventh. His highest position since the first week of the season. The decent week for Colukev moved him up a place, as he makes a renewed effort to get back into the top six. The top scoring performance from wessex_exile continued his recent turnaround in form, and although he stayed put, he is now only 8 points from the top six. Having the Huddersfield 1-1 spot-on made sure gerry_us would not be holding the wooden spoon this week.
