Exactly, can't the mods remove the offending threads.

Nobody is perfect. We've all probably done things which maybe we wouldn't have done in later life. We've all said things we regret. Let's celebrate the life of an extremely talented athlete and intelligent man.

Trying to make super-villains of white individuals who chose to go out to South Africa may be a bit o.t.t. when you consider that the likes of black individuals i.e. Serge Nubret and Albert Beckles were more than happy to go over there to compete along with black IFBB president Winston Roberts who was extremely keen to see Mr Olympia being held in Apartheid South Africa anyhow.

A case of "that was then this is now" in a time when politics was seen by people both black and white to be a distraction? It looked like that during decades past.

And I guess seeing or knowing that black people have played out there may have influenced decision making of others? Times were different then, and of course it would not happen if Apartheid was around today.

Linda Ronstadt played out there during the "bad old days" and she is well known 'lefty' in her U.S homeland.

And of course she truly is the last person anyone could ever call a racist just by looking who she has dueted with i.e. Aaron Neville, James Ingram and Smokey Robinson etc.

I know the apartheid regime was terrible but nobody should have to endure Boney M whatever their sins.

And comments many others are responding to took place a lot longer than 13 years ago so just what is your point.
