What is going on there?
Young lady presenter has just said 'Evening from Roots Hall', at around 14.10 in the afternoon. Goes across to The Jobserve and there is some jingle playing ...no one there or no connection?
Having just attempted to watch the Horley Town v AFC Croydon match on BBC in the First Qualifying Round of the F.A. Cup and given up at half time after it kept cutting out, are we now seeing the effects of the BBC reducing it's budgets and workforce?
During Tuesday evening's coverage of the Wimbledon match at The Jobserve there were a series of errors including at one time two or three different audio feeds merging in together??????

That would be Victoria Polley at Roots Hall.
BBC Radio Essex love Southend and always favour them to the U's.
Just like EADT love Ipswich rather than Col U.
The BBC have been in for criticism this week over a decision on the World Service as opposed to local radio for future finding.

Glenn Speller is a superb broadcaster, probably the most accomplished that BBC Essex possess.
Neil Kelly too does a fine job and is very well assisted by David Gregory who always makes a valuable contribution.
A word too for the guys that cover Southend United, they too are a credit to a radio station that is somewhat in decline and finding it difficult to maintain audience. | | | |
