Week 2 results EVERTON 0 FULHAM 1 Substitute Bobby de Cordova-Reid scored the winning goal as Fulham edged to victory over wasteful Everton in their opening game of the new Premier League season. 3 got this spot-on, and another one had the outcome. 17 predicted a win for Everton. SHEFFIELD UNITED 0 CRYSTAL PALACE 1 Odsonne Edouard spoiled United's return to the Premier League to give Palace a winning start to life after Wilfried Zaha. A magnificent 7 had this spot-on, and a further 5 got the outcome. SOUTHAMPTON 4 NORWICH CITY 4 Adam Armstrong scored a 97th-minute penalty as Southampton hit back to salvage a draw in an astonishing game at St Mary's. Obviously nobody got this spot-on, but 6 did have the outcome. The other 20 predicted a win for Southampton, with 10 going for a 2-1 in what was the weeks most predicted score. WIGAN ATHLETIC 2 NORTHAMPTON TOWN 1 Wigan moved up to minus two points in League One after coming from behind to secure their second league win of the campaign. A great 8 had this spot-on, and another 13 got the outcome. HARROGATE TOWN 0 FOREST GREEN ROVERS 1 Forest Green enjoyed their first away league win since the opening day of last season as a second-half Matty Stevens goal secured victory. Well done to Moor_Pinot for being the only one to get this spot-on, and a further 7 had the outcome. NOTTS COUNTY 3 GRIMSBY 2 County twice came from behind to gain a first victory on their return to League Two. Nobody had this spot-on, though 12 did get the outcome. A warm welcome to the latest new member TheRams - no this is not the return of Derby fan MrHappy - who along with other new member Jarash63, will be hoping to be as good at predicting football matches as they are at playing bowls. A steady start for both, as they seek that first 3 pointer. An eight goal thriller for the second week running, with that 97th minute equaliser from Southampton giving us the first and only draw we have had in the first 12 games of the season. The other 11 games have produced 6 homes and 5 aways. The 0-1 has just about proved to be the top result for an away win over the seasons, and it was certainly the way to go this week, with 3 games ending in that result. In fact we were close to all 6 games ending in aways, until Wigan and Notts County came from behind to win, and that late eqaliser from Southampton. Considering two games didn't have a 3 pointer, it was an excellent week to have 19 in total. Only one member did well to have three 3 pointers, that was concordman, who had the wins for Fulham, Palace and Wigan, and the Notts County outcome, to make him the weeks top scorer with a brilliant 10 points. Three members got two 3 pointers. They were basher2010, who had the 1-0 away wins for Fulham and Palace, and the Wigan outcome to give him a very decent 7 points, and Daniel and oxfcolu, who both had the Palace 1-0 and the Wigan 2-1, with the former also getting the Notts Couty outcome, to give him a very decent 7 points, and the latter getting a decent 6 points. The best of those to have one 3 pointer was BFG, who had the Palace 1-0 and four outcomes to give him a very decent 7 points. In the Premier The top scoring performance from concordman has him soaring to the top. Another solid week for last weeks leader thrillseeker, that included having the Palace 1-0 spot-on, made sure of him being second on the first to post rule from oxfcolu, who has started his first season in the Premier impressively. In the slipstream of these leaders is noah4x4, as he was another to get the Palace 1-0 spot-on. That good Forest Green 1-0 prediction for Moor_Pinot has him remaining fifth. A bad day at the office for mfb_cufc has sent him into the relegation zone, just ahead of unitedwhites and GOSBTS, who remain there. In Division One Another very decent week for BFG maintains top spot for him. The decent week for Daniel moves him up into the other automatic place, as he looks for an instant return to the Premier. The decent week for basher2010 moves him up to third. Having the Wigan 2-1 spot-on moved Tropical_Us up a place to fourth. Three outcomes for Madeira163 keeps him in a play-off spot in fifth. The final play-off place is still held by burnsieespana, after he got the Fulham 1-0 spot-on. The equilibrium remains for wessex_exile. Last week four outcomes had him 3 points from the top and 3 points from the bottom. Amazingly, four outcomes again this week, not only remained him in eighth place, but he is now 6 points from the top and 6 points from the bottom. A first 3 pointer for Colukev, the Wigan 2-1, on his return to the Happy League, takes him off the bottom. Where he is replaced by gerry_us, after he had a rare blank.
