1) We couldn't afford him 2) He would have other more luxurious options 3) Warnock openly criticised his attitude, isn't that the main issue with the club currently? I would certainly take Warnock's judgement of character.
Coming into a struggling team, unless any loanees are really prepared to dig in and get their hand dirty, I don't really see the point. Just look at the loanees from last season, they rang it in as soon as they could.
