Week 15 results

MANCHESTER CITY 2 FULHAM 1

Substitute Erling Haaland scored a 95th minute winner from the penalty spot to give 10-man City victory and send the defending champions top of the table. Everybody predicted a win for City, but nobody got it spot-on.

NOTTINGHAM FOREST 2 BRENTFORD 2
Mathias Jorgensen scored a 96th-minute own goal as Forest salvaged a dramatic late point. Well done to MrHappy2 for being the only one to have this spot-on, and another 9 got the outcome.

BLACKBURN ROVERS 1 HUDDERSFIELD TOWN 0
Ben Brereton Diaz's ninth goal of the season saw Blackburn move within two points of Championship leaders Burnley. 3 got this spot-on, and a further 21 had the outcome.

MIDDLESBROUGH 1 BRISTOL CITY 1
Chuba Akpom's second-half equaliser earned a point for Middlesbrough. A magnificent 7 had this spot-on, and one more got the outcome.

QUEENS PARK RANGERS 0 WEST BROMWICH ALBION 1
Kyle Bartley's second-half header secured struggling West Brom just their fourth Championship victory of the season as QPR's winless run extended to three games. No points for anybody from this game, 23 predicted a win for QPR with a massive 14 going for a 2-1 in what was the weeks most predicted score.

SWANSEA CITY 2 WIGAN ATHLETIC 2
Swansea fought back from 2-0 down to claim a point and deny struggling Wigan a much-needed victory, but at least they halted a five-game losing streak. Well done to oxfcolu for being the only one to have this spot-on, and another 3 got the outcome. 21 predicted a win for Swansea.

A week that looked to favour the home teams, not surprisingly didn't turn out that like that, the way results have gone lately. The late City winner and Blackburn gave us the only two home wins, but it was mainly outcomes from them that gave everybody at least 2 points this week. It was left to the Middlebrough 1-1 to produce 7 of the 12 total spot-ons. On another tough week for 3 pointers two members did well to get two each. They were MrHappy2, who had that Middlesbrough draw to go with his good Forest 2-2 prediction, and the Man City and Swansea outcomes, to make him this weeks top scorer with a very decent 8 points. Also Madeira163, who had the Blackburn 1-0 and the Middlesbrough 1-1, and the City outcome to give him a decent 7 points.

Midweek League Cup Seven of the ten weeks for the knockout stage qualification have now been completed. The next two qualifying weeks will be fixtures from the World Cup. A full update of Week 7, and the first of those fixtures, will be appear in the coming week.

U'sual Champions League A first look on how qualification is going for this competition. The current champ RSCOSWORTH will automatically qualify, and the other qualifiers will be the eleven highest scorers over the two divisions after Wekk 23 on 1st January. The member currently in that eleventh and final qualifying place is ghughes11 with his 60 points.

In the Premier With ten members in this division scoring 2 or 3 points, it is the other two, who were the only ones to get a 3 pointer, that enacted any change. That means there is no change at the top, with mfb_cufc maintaining a 4 point lead over noah4x4, after they both got two outcomes. Having the Blackburn 1-0 spot-on, moved thrillseeker up a couple of places to third, as he exchanges places with ghughes11. Three outcomes for RSCOSWORTH keeps him in the final Super Cup spot. The other change in this division came from wessex_exile moving out of the relegation zone, thanks to getting the Middlesbrough 1-1 spot-on. This means current champ concordman drops back into the bottom three again. Three more outcomes for Sector4 moves him ever closer to safety.

In Division One We have a new leader, as GOSBTS continued his rich vein of form, that has him leading the Midweek League as well, as he got the Blackburn 1-0 spot-on, to give him a solid 6 points. Last weeks leader Pinault_Noir has to settle for the other automatic spot, after having the Middlebrough 1-1 spot-on. The top scoring performance from MrHappy2 moves him up a place to third, but only on the most 3 pointer rule from oxfcolu, who had another sold week. The decent week for Madeira163 moved him up a couple of places, and back into a play-off place. Three outcomes were enough for bwildered to remain in the final play-off spot for the third week running. The only other change in this league has gerry_us] moving up a place, as he was another to have the Middlesbrough 1-1 spot-on.

THE TABLES (106 out of 280 played)
(Tie-breaker: Most 3 pointers, and then the first to post)
