What you lot desperately need is your usual oct/nov pick me up right now aka a fixture v your nearest and dearest… Every season this is what puts the lust back into your season, usually on the verge of collapse and along comes ccfc to turn you from a Sharron on eastenders to an Angelina Jolie in 90 mins…..unfortunately it’s still a way off and anyway the doube is obv heading our way this season.

We aren’t allowed to mention that we haven’t won in 8 league games.
Apparently you have to start again now and it only counts as 2.
The logic people come up with to justify this dross has been incredible. Especially when they themselves turn in the space of 90 mins to now realising what the rest of us did long ago.
There has been a lot of myth building around Martin. Strip away the nonsense and there isn’t a lot there is there.
Protecting a style of play that has never shown any success and asking players to put their pay packets and potentially career trajectories on the line to put everything into a system that has proven never to work is insulting.
The myth building needs to stop though. So I hope come the next win, we don’t have silly posts saying how wonderful he is again, it simply feeds into the machine and will only make a bigger bang when it breaks again, which does the club no favours at all.
Since midway through last season I’ve simply been calling for a realistic perspective on the bloke. No myths, no “process” speak… just someone tell me what he has done to deserve such time and leeway rarely even afforded to the most decorated managers in the game.
Someone tell me why we have so much faith and putting so much time, money and sacrifice into the following tactics:-
In his 53 games at Swansea he has achieved 1.28 points per game. That’s hideous.
At Mk Dons in his 79 games managed there be achieved 1.38 points per game. Again, hideous.
Where had it worked? What are we basing this trust on? His words?
The words from the same bloke we saw talking in that “training” video? Terrifying, truly terrifying. And anyone who continues to enable this situation should hang their heads in shame, where is the pride?
Credit where credit is due fecking great post.

Builth is going to be sorely shattered one day when his super support is proven misguided.
Many are reflecting now
Oh right
Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

We had 2 years of relatively success under Cooper, yet you criticised him every step of the way.
Sadly you take every opportunity to put your home town and Country down.
I'm not going to get into a spat with you, I'll just ignore you in future
If this was under Cooper, that I can understand. I made similar points myself regarding his criticism despite clearly over achieving.
However this situation is quite different. We were 15th last season and are 22nd now. There is every reason to be critical and we as a fan base shouldn’t be accepting or excusing it.
An absolute inept egomaniac is in charge of us, using us as his personal vanity project. Everyone should be furious.

For start, stop behaving like a prat , there’s no need for it. People have differing views, stop having a go at people just because they have a different view to you. I’ve had a few complaints about your posts and have not deleted them but please just post politely.
To answer your question, and if you have read my earlier posts, I am starting to lose faith in what he is trying to do. The theory behind it makes sense, trying to pass the ball at speed, tire the other team out and then put it away when their fitness goes is a sound one.
However the continual messing around at the back, aimless passing around with no clear end goal is testing everyone’s patience plus his complete refusal to do anything else is bewildering.
It is only the second game of the season. I’d imagine he will be given to the end of September so we will have the transfer window plus a month to see where we are. If we lose the next few league games in the matter we lost today whilst sticking rigidly to this system, he may go earlier.
Personally, I think the players and fans will do it for him in the end.
Oh dear. Hardly setting the example as a site admin.
Imagine if we now all started calling each other prats, hardly a good look is it.
This site has over the past 2 years been the next best experience to a proper matchday experience - esp for some of us who can't get to matches - debate, deep discussion, banter, slagging each other off (without the swearing and personal abuse ofc). It seems some like you are diluting that experience and the brand that was head and shoulders above most rivals.

I think what winds people up is take last night for example not a peep when we were winning.
Then as soon as it goes pear shaped you can't wait to stick the boot in.
It does give the impression you are enjoying it.
If that is the case then it shows how fey they are. You will not see any world class coach satisfied when LEADING a game. You are not WINNING . We lose leads and questions asked. If posters find this worthy of hate then screw them. I truly do not give a fark .
I have high standards and dream still of playing at the top table. Trouble with sone is their lack of self confidence sees them slipping into the bygone days drivel when we were crap and lost 7-0 to Workington etc. They should be lining for the days when we beat Liverpool at home and got clapped for it,although our great away fans thought scousers patronising them. This was posted on this site s previous incarnation.
That makes them fair game to me,as are those still accepting what is going on right now
If you’re coming to Blackpool, fancy a quick couple of fox trots around the Tower Ballroom. They seriously hire the Wurlitzer,an amazing instrument of grandeur. I’m meeting a valued member of this site there.
Edit - this was in reply to one of AC's usual nonsensical rants. I should have tagged him in
Sadly you are the one who cannot debate without being abusive. Sorry I haven't posted much the last two days - too busy supporting our team at Oxford then resting after the journey. So what is your take after all this time of calling for his head ? Who would you replace him with ?
