Week 27 results BLACKPOOL 3 BRISTOL CITY 1 Blackpool made it three successive Championship home wins with a comfortable victory over City, who are now without a win in nine away league games. Nobody got this spot-on, but 20 did have the outcome with a massive 15 going for a 2-1 in what was the weeks most predicted score. HULL CITY 0 PRESTON NORTH END 1 Preston moved to within four points of the Championship play-offs as they inflicted a first defeat on Hull head coach Shota Arveladze. Well done to concordman for being the only one to have this spot-on, and only sevebalo got the outcome. CHARLTON ATHLETIC 3 AFC WIMBLEDON 2 Wimbledon remain just a point above the League One relegation zone, as they take their winless streak to 11 games, after Akin Famewo's first career goal secured a win for Charlton. Well done to Blue4U2 for being the only one to get this spot-on, and a further 23 had the outcome. SHREWSBURY TOWN 1 FLEETWOOD TOWN 1 Fleetwood drew their third consecutive game, and Shrewsbury have now drawn four of the last five games. A superb 6 had this spot-on, and one more got the outcome. ROCHDALE v CARLISLE UNITED POSTPONED Waterlogged pitch SALFORD CITY v PORT VALE POSTPONED Waterlogged pitch The late postponements at Rochdale and Salford left us with just four games this week, and they didn't do a lot to change the shape of things in either league. All but 8 of the weeks total points came from the Shrewsbury 1-1 spot-on and the outcomes for Blackpool and Charlton. There were four members, blueeagle, Tropical_Us, BFG and bwildered, who had that combination to give them a decent 5 points. To make it a six way go for the weeks top scorer, a decent 5 points also for sevebalo, who had the Shrewsbury 1-1, and the outcomes for Preston and Charlton, and concordman, who had the outcomes for Blackpool and Charlton to go with his good Preston 1-0 prediction. Happy Midweek League Cup A reminder that last round of games for the knockout stage qualification take place next Tuesday 8th February. One not to miss with the eight qualification places very much up for grabs, with more than half of all members in contention. Usual Champions League There is now a separate thread with all the details of this seasons competition, being administrated as usual by wessex_exile. In the Premier There is no change at the top as three leaders all had the Blackpool and Charlton outcomes. That means TheFatGooner takes his run at the summit to six weeks. The same time being spent in second for RSCOSWORTH, and a fourth week in third for unitedwhites. The top scoring performance for concordman moved him up a place into a season high fourth, and therefore a first time in the Super Cup places. Those Blackpool and Charlton outcomes helped to move basher2010 back into the top half. The only other upward move in this division came from sevebalo, with his top scoring performance moving up a place, and he only remains in the relegation zone on the most 3 pointer rule. In Division One The top scoring performance from blueeagle has extended his lead to a useful 5 points. In a lead that has changed many times this season, it is the largest lead anybody has had since Week 9. It was Tropical_Us who held that lead then, and as another one of this weeks top scorers, he moves up three places, and back into the other automatic spot, he last held in Week 15. He has more 3 pointers than anybody in both divisions, and that enables him to obtain that place on the most 3 pointer rule from Lewis_1 and wessex_exile, in third and fourth. Those Blackpool and Charlton outcomes moved thrillseeker up another place to a season high fifth. But it is only on the mostt 3 pointer rule from Pinault_Noir, who drops a couple of places into the final play-off spot. The only member to get three outcomes this week was gery_us, and he is just within a point of the play-offs. The top scoring performance from BFG moved him up a place, and only 3 points from the play-offs. The closest he has been to the top six all season. In being one of the weeks top scorers, bwildered moved up a couple of places, and the highest he has been since Week 9. THE TABLES (192 out of 280 played) (Tie-breaker: Most 3 pointers, and then the first to post) Week 28 Fixtures This is now a 12 game week to make up for the postponed matches in Week 27. They were picked by this weeks guest noah4x4, who has gone for the full programme from League 2.
