FA Cup Round 4 06:09 - Jan 9 with 10967 views | The_Beast1976 | Who do we want to get and who do we think we'll get? I would like Hartlepool, Cambridge or Kiddeminster away, but suspect we'll end up with something like Middlesborough or Huddersfield away
FA Cup Round 4 on 17:00 - Jan 9 with 3206 views | The_Beast1976 | We always seem to get a shit tie in the cup. However, could be worse I guess. Still a good chance to get to 5th round and should get a good number of tickets again

FA Cup Round 4 on 16:56 - Jan 9 by QPRSteve | I see the Scum get their normal easy draw yet again. |
Liverpool, Man City, , Chelsea, Tottenham, Man Utd, Arsenal ALL drawn at home. Unbelievable. Poor draw in general because all the big teams will get through and none of them are playing away on a bog somewhere. I don’t mind our draw. We can take a big following. It’s a decent day out, and if we play properly and don’t get complacent like we did earlier this season leaving it 2 on 2 at the back, we should win.

FA Cup Round 4 on 17:03 - Jan 9 with 3091 views | TGRRRSSS | Oh we've actually got Peterborough. Ticked the ground off earlier this season. Be interesting to see how we approach it but given we played quite a strong side v Rotherham I'd assume again, being a fairly easy trip we should sell out. [Post edited 9 Jan 2022 17:14]

FA Cup Round 4 on 15:55 - Jan 9 by daveB | the players who had to miss Chelsea and Arsenal game were back out of isolation for this one so they had enough to put a team out. I get that its Liverpool so they should have no excuse but if we got to a semi final and had to play the under 18's I'd be fuming, can see why they wanted the game postponed for a week [Post edited 9 Jan 2022 16:16]

I guess my point remains, Liverpool and other clubs treat the early rounds of domestic cup competitions with such disdain and think nothing of playing their kids and youth until it becomes apparent that they have a sniff of success. Once again we don't have the luxury of having an u18s squad full of highly paid 'promising' youths hoovered up from the academies of lesser clubs - they're new starlet was 'signed' from Derby last year. Thursday was a completely cynical approach and they still had more than enough to make it competitive and take the second leg at anfield with a very strong squad. Once again remember this is a club that took the decision to abandon the English game completely (along with Arsenal) less than a year ago, only for faux outrage to scupper their greedy plans .... For now. If I were a Cardiff fan, I'd give it at least an hour before kick off to decide whether to travel, in case Liverpool are inconvenienced once again by another pesky cup tie, as I assume the champions of the universe competition must recommence soon after.

It's not just big clubs who do that, we've done it plenty of times in the past as well. It's a unique situation at the moment with covid so I'm got some sympathy with clubs having to call games off, we did it recently as well
FA Cup Round 4 on 17:55 - Jan 9 with 2564 views | NorthantsHoop | Our very own Peter Hucker got a mention from David James as he did the FA Cup 4th round draw. His first memory of an FA Cup final QPR v Spurs and Peter Huckers excellent goalkeeping display - good stuff.

We were not good at their place and if we play like that again and like we did against Rotherham then Posh could do us a second time with some of our key players missing and the cup not our priority.

We'll have to agree to disagree and might possibly be forgotten when we batter the posh a considerable number of goals to no reply... Love the Langley thread by the way
