Long time lurker, but now angry enough to post... For the last few years I've sat with my two boys in the family stand on a number of occasions. I haven't had a season ticket for several years (before they were born) but we've been going to so many games that we decided we were going to get seasons. I was expected a big rise in prices, but what I wasn't expecting was that I can't even buy a season ticket! Family stand is for renewals only (club confirmed this to me in email this morning.) The fact that I've sat there for several seasons implies that the stand wasn't full of season ticket holders. So in effect, Rangers are discouraging new families from sitting there. What sort of message is this for the future? In that I can't afford for all three of us to sit anywhere else (apart from Bronze, where the kids struggle to see anything), I've now got to pass on the bad news to my two kids that we won't be getting season tickets after-all. Thanks Rangers. | |
