7 minutes and 1 vote against.

Thank you, Mr Chairman and fellow board members.

Poll: What is it to be then?

Curran, Rose at al bought their shares from private individuals, not from the club.

The share transfer still needs to be ratified by the club board and ordinarily a general share transfer at Rochdale normally goes through unopposed.

Thanks for that 👍

But the hassle involved in trying to hoover up say 1000 x 100 shares for just over 10% shareholding (or less with further issuance) would hardly be worth it?

A wide distribution would imo be in the club's interest

We need a trustworthy Board of Directors who are able to make decisions without pandering to the the individual whims of thousands of fans every time.......at the end of the day it is a business.

And that's how it'll continue. Suggesting that fans with 100-500 shares will subject the club to their individual whims not only flies in the face of how the club is run as a business but any evidence they could do that

Just look at the German model of ownership

I agree with you but I have concerns that some fans have an unrealistic view of the the influence small shareholders can have on decisions made at Board level. I hope I'm wrong.

Shares form requested and received. I will be submitting a decent share request that hopefully supports the future of the club.

I'm going to buy 100 shares as I think that the more spread out the shareowners are then the harder it is for some shyster to hoover them up in the future,I've spent more money this season on Dale than I have on bloody Notts

Poll: Will you purchase any shares?...

Have any responses been received regarding share applications?

Be good Simon or one of the other board members could be interviewed about what sort of response there has been so far to the invitation to apply for shares.

Approval email includes bank transfer details, which couldn't be simpler

Well done the club for processing what must have been a huge amount of applications and data in a relatively short space of time

Aye, easy enough, bank transfer made, looking forward to being a shareholder.

Let's hope they have been inundated. My application is also approved. We will consider purchasing a few more if the issue is under-subscribed.

I have also purchased some shares, hopefully this current share issue will be over or fully subscribed.

Going forward perhaps the club could offer more new shares in smaller 25 (£50) or 50 (£100) blocks to fans when renewing their season cards next year. This could allow fans who could not afford the current minimum £200 investment to purchase some shares in the future.

I wonder if it’s something that could be done annually? I wouldn’t have a clue tbh, but if possible, there could be all sorts of permutations… 500 shares also gets you 5 VIP days for matches of your choice etc…

Its not unusual for companies to offer perks to investors ... here is a lst that Hargreaves Lansdown have compiled. But there are probably more. RAFC could offer shareholders 5% off room hire, a discount off a new shirt etc. a bit like the vouchers in the old ST books. Maybe there are sponsors who might be interested in offering discounts etc to shareholders, I am sure Zen or Kia or Crown Oil might be interested?

Nice e-mail confirming my application was successful.

Spent a lot less than Morton House but have tons more influence than they ever will.

Who on Earth could have misguided MH in such a way? They've cost their clients a lot of wasted money. The finger points at Jarvz and Roger The Biffo....
