It is a very good return and I am very grateful to him. I like him and think he's decent.

This isn't sitting right with me.
I can't imagine another Championship club letting their top goalscorer (and 14 goals is decent) leave for £1.5m just a week before the transfer window slams shut...after starting the season looking like relegation candidates...and the fans being pleased about it.

Agreed there, these players do leave then they really have to show a bit of ambition with what they bring in, especially as we could be looking at sales and money from James bringing 10m into the club. They state that they are not in a position where they need to sell players to balance the books so that money could be reinvested easily in players albeit taking into account what wages we could afford. |  |
