I'd never heard of her until about a week ago, she was part of the folk scene in the early 1960's in New York. Bob Dylan was a big fan of hers.

She only ever released 2 albums, end of the 60's and start of the 70's, then disappeared from the scene. Apparently she wouldn't bend her style for the studio's.

I find her voice captivating, such a shame she wasn't more well known.
