Drakeford man up 20:25 - Oct 12 with 5440 views | trampie | Drakeford needs to man up and close the border with England, places like Liverpool are riddled with covid and Bojo is doing nothing to stop them from traveling to Wales.

No surprise there as they are a unionist party.

Spot on. Ignoring the realities of a pandemic and ‘pushing on regardless‘ is the very best way of supporting tourism in Wales. It does not make a third wave and an even longer lockdown inevitable at all. And certainly does not put the citizens of Wales at an avoidable increased risk to their health and well being. Please learn stuff.

Drakeford man up on 20:57 - Oct 12 with 2341 views | onehunglow | Liverpool people put millions into the north Wales economy. From Prestayn to Rhyl it is full of scousers both on day trips and longer term lets. Unbelievably, scousers do not hate the Welsh even ones like tramps and their obvious contempt. Any doubt, check out the vehicular traffic on A55 and you ll see Gogs going east -to work weekdays and at weekends the traffic flow is westwards They are not tight wth their money so local lads and lases get to earn money. Yep,them staying away will really benefit that part of Wales. Not

If you’re talking about health and well being how do you think putting ten percent of the entire welsh workforce out of work would improve the nations morale?

Before you answer, not that you will, more people are employed in tourism and hospitality in Wales than were working in mining when Thatcher shut the pits. We are still feeling the effects of that now and you moan about it constantly. [Post edited 12 Oct 2020 21:20]

Drakeford man up on 21:24 - Oct 12 with 2298 views | onehunglow | Well,it read's that way. Anne Robinson is no more representative than anyone else. Good bad everywhere,England/Wales too. People in this county are fine and Liverpudlians might be many things, including butts for jokes but they can be the mot genuine people you can meet and few are back stabbers

Read my reply again - not that you will.... Its not a choice of tourism - good or bad? Its an urgent public health matter. Welsh govt are already using local lockdowns to stop covid spreading. All that sacrifice will be wasted If people from high level covid areas like NE, NW, and Midlands simply end up in Wales and spread the virus again. Its just common sense, but then you know that dont you ? Follow your Alternative guidance and a 3rd wave is guaranteed with further lockdowns to follow. Its a really dumb idea.
