Raab - what a snivelling little sh1t on 14:43 - Sep 3 by londonlisa2001 | They also said they wouldn’t leave without a deal though. Everyone has been lied to. On all sides. |
Watching the squirming lying from 'Remainers' is unedifying and degrades us all. You know exactly what the 'Remainer' MPs are doing, they have steadfastly destroyed the government's negotiation position....at first this was done with a 'Remainer' PM and half the cabinet were 'Remain', the Brexiteers had no option but to leave that sham government....this was all part of the plan to destroy the reputations of the Brexiteers appointed in key positions in preparation for a 2nd referendum. Now we have 'Brexiteers' in charge and the 'Remainer' MPs and their supporters have revealed that there is no depths they won't stoop too to stop us leaving the EU. Cooking up a surrender document to be voted on today is contemptible. They won't get away with it though and let's not have any tears when they finally get their comeuppance. Bunch of lying bastards.

The people planning to vote against the government include Brexit supporters though. Just don’t want ‘no deal’. It’s the extreme actions that are more likely to result in a delay / remain. I suspect that’s partly what Johnson wants. As long as he can’t be blamed for it. He’s not a brexiteer - he’s an opportunist. His father was an MEP ffs and he was brought up in Brussels. His sister is a LibDem and his brother resigned from May’s government to oppose no deal. This is all a game. The issue is the chips they are using are paid for by people that can’t afford them. Rees Mogg’s investment business has reportedly shorted the pound. He wants it to collapse - he’ll make millions. They’re not on your side Kerouac.

Thanks Perch, I have always enjoyed your contributions as well. I genuinely like and respect plenty of people that I disagree with. The reason why Brexit has been so polarising in my opinion is the disrespect shown by those who lost the argument to those that won the argument.

" This position is utterly disingenuous though isn't it, as the deal was put before Parliament 3 bloody times and rejected 3 times. So that deal is no longer possible. Capiche? Therefore, in the scenario we are in now, it is not extreme to say; "Well, seeing as the EU have repeated over and over again that they won't renegotiate and Parliament won't vote for the deal, 'No Deal' is now on the table...as we won't be bullied into either staying in or accepting a deal which seems to be designed to rip our country apart.". Is there no patriotic part of you which can see that the British government needs to be allowed to negotiate without members of it's own Parliament undermining them? This is why MPs are lying when they say they have "respected the result of the referendum", they need to face the public at the ballot box now. The f*ckers are spineless.

Raab - what a snivelling little sh1t on 11:32 - Sep 3 by Kerouac | There was no negotiation. There was the EU dictating terms and May and Hammond etc. cooperating, that's why most of the Brexiteers left the cabinet. We are not stupid. The stupid people are those who expect the public to swallow that shite. If every 'Remainer' in parliament had voted for May's deal we would have left already with a deal, but typically (full of hubris) they overplayed their hand thinking they could reverse the referendum result. This is the logical result. Suck it up. Stick it to the lilly livered bastards Boris! |
Can yo enlighten all of us what terms (of the negotiation) did the EU dictate to us? When you’ve done that please explain why you think your not stupid?

There may be yet some more unexpected twists and turns in this ongoing soap opera. That may take many by surprise after reading Guido Fawkes..... "Despite the build-up to tonight’s vote, some Tory MPs believe a government loss tonight will not automatically translate to a government defeat tomorrow — with the rebels’ legislation failing at its 2nd Reading. All will become much clearer, however, at 7 pm…"

In one hand you talk about respect and on the other you patronise. Make up your mind. There is nothing to negotiate. If people’s actually understood the withdrawal agreement they would understand that it only really covers the ‘divorce bill’ (it’s our calculation), the rights of EU citizens (already supposedly agreed by Johnson) and the backstop. The backstop is only there in the absence of any other suggestion on how to deal with the Irish issue. For as long as it takes for us to find another suggestion. The actual deal to be negotiated is to come after the WA is agreed. If we leave with no deal, and want to trade with the EU, we will have to sign the withdrawal agreement. It has nothing to do with patriotism. Don’t be ridiculous. It’s not the war despite anything Mark Francois tells you. It’s a deal with a trading partner.

The backstop Many solutions have been proposed, both by Brexit ministers and independent experts on customs. All rejected by the EU as it suits them to reject solutions, it is the tool they are using to justify their non-negotiation. Ultimately it is not our problem anyway. Pre-EU we had no hard border. Both Ireland and the UK joined the EU at the same time, both are independent states, if UK chooses to leave the EU and Ireland opts to stay in an organisation that requires them to have a hard border with non-EU countries...THEN CRACK ON WITH IT!. It will be the EU that implements a hard border in Ireland, not the UK... ...and here is the nub of Ireland's role in the negotiation. The EU couldn't give a flying f*ck for Ireland, they could easily agree a trade deal with the UK and electronic/trusted trader checks etc. away from the border. Instead they use Ireland like a pawn in the game. No-deal f*cks Ireland more than any other country, the Germans don't care. WA then trade deal Regardless of any WA we should not pay the EU a penny until a trade deal has been agreed. Not a single penny. No deal then WA to get Trade Deal Factually incorrect. We can trade with the EU without a trade deal as do many countries. They sell far more to us than we do them, if they want to damage their own businesses by refusing a trade deal they can go ahead...meanwhile we will be signing trade deals with the rest of the World, the rest of the World who will want the UK business that the EU apparently don't value enough, the rest of the World where our exports were already growing at a much faster rate than with the EU. It will be harder, much harder, for the EU to replace the UK export market with other partners than it will for the UK to find markets that will want to export more to us. That's how business works love. It is not a war but it is also not a deal with a trading partner. What it is, is a divorce. We are not happy with what we have got out of this marriage, we are certainly not happy with our money and our sacrifices being taken for granted. They are not happy that their lives are about to get that little bit harder when we leave. They'd like more maintenance for the kids they unilaterally adopted against our wishes and they'd also like to set the rules for what we do next (where we live, who with, what we choose to do with our profitable business) They have already screamed at us in front of the neighbours that they will do everything within their power to make our lives as painful as possible post divorce. As Boris put it, they can go whistle

Raab - what a snivelling little sh1t on 01:24 - Sep 4 with 1554 views | majorraglan | Boris is now open to an all Ireland food zone which would push the agricultural border into the Irish Sea something if I am not mistaken was a red line for Teresa May. I recently read that if a hard border was introduced in Ireland it would cause huge problems to the NI farmers who would face tariffs when exporting their milk to their main market (dairies) in the South to the extent that something like 45,000 cattle were at risk of slaughter. That would devastate their industry, so it may be we are seeing signs of compromise. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-49566657

May was quite happy with a border in the Irish sea, it was her good friends in the DUP who objected. So Johnson having lost his majority, is withdrawing the whip from 20 of his own MPs and p..ing off his coalition partners. Good work

They won’t get the election yet as they can’t muster enough support, but if they could get the numbers I think Boris would win at the moment. Despite his poor performances and lies, he’s got a lot of money behind him, most of the media promoting him and demonising Corbyn. The Tories have also been experiencing a bit of a bounce. If things change and Labour pick up/ change Corbyn, then Boris could struggle.
