Wait and see.
As with Derry, it's not all about skill, it's about attitude

Nothing but praise and respect for him on social media. Looks like a goodun.

Nice long thread to read on the Bournemouth forum about our new signing, like many have already said never really noticed or heard of him as a player but sounds like a proper Bircham / Ainsworth / Macca type in terms of attitude. Nice one

Did you ever see Derry produce a bicycle-kick that shaved the post?
Did Derry have attacking pace? Could he cut in from the wing and shoot and score great goals a la Dave Thomas? Loved Shaun My Lord of course but totally different players.
I saw an excellent match 4 seasons ago at Griffin between Bees and Cherries plenty of good players on the pitch and I made Marc Pugh MOTM BY A MILE! and wished we had a player like that at Loftus Road.

Hope to goodness that April broken toe in no way blights him.
Pugh primarily plays as a winger but can also play as an attacking midfielder. He has been noted for his dribbling skills and his ability to get past opposition players, and in February 2015 was praised by manager Eddie Howe for adding "real intelligence with his movement".

Next season I will be mainly spectating from Puuuuuuuuugh Block

Best of alll the business done.

He's certainly not a Bircham/Ainsworth type player.

He may have the same application as them, but he has more ability than the two of them combined!

Yes, Derry was more your roaming around 'snuff out oppo trouble before it started' type of player.

I know its just one match but he looks like a replacement for Freeman AND he knows how to cross a ball With Manning and Pugh we now have two players who can feed Hugill and the young guy Jan from Slovenia. but as with everything time will tell. Good signing

From the thread on the Cherries board:

You don't 'cheer' Marc Pugh...

Instead you 'Puuuuuuuuggghhhh...'

It sounds a bit like a boo.

Hull City got on board with it during his excellent loan spell there.

FWIW, Marc Pugh is not only a very skillful player but he's also a very decent man.

He's much loved and already greatly missed here.

Well he wouldn't want to be behind Windy Miller.

Miller is known as the New George Best for a reason.
