Did anyone see that Leicester fan having a go at my mate Saturday?

He was sitting decked out in Leicester scarf hat etc, he got all mouthy when my mate took a photo of him as he couldn't believe what he was seeing.

He threatened to punch a few, you could see kids around were a bit scared, not a steward in sight so it was lucky it calmed down. How can someone decked out in another teams colours be allowed into the home end?

Apparently someone pointed him out to a steward and they just shrugged and said nothing we can do.

Wow, can't believe some peoples reactions to this.

Yes he was alone, but according to some on here guess it's fine to sit with the home fans with another football teams shirt on, a team that's in the same division as us.

If he sat there in a Cardiff scarf etc guess that would be fine too.

No one said anything about beating anyone up, he was the only one that became aggressive.

My god imagine if he tried this stunt down the vetch, he'd be in the bay faster than a Cardiff fan. As someone said earlier, it's all happy clappers now.

Anyone who goes and sits alone, among the families, in the home section of the ground with the scarf and shirt of a rival team is a numpty. All those thinking this is OK should think what their reaction would be if this was a guy in a blue Cardiff shirt (or is it still red) instead of the blue of Leicester. As for someone going on about Munster, they are not in the Prem, unlike Leicester, and they don't even play the same sport.

I'm really at a loss to see what's wrong with somebody wearing a Leicester scarf at a Swans verses Bournemouth game, no wonder he became aggressive with you and your numpty mate taking his picture. it's 2017 not 1970!

You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game

And this sums up what wrong with this club right now, just sit there and close your eyes to any problems. Next time someone wearing a manchester utd top/scarf sits next to you, you just sit there.

What should one do if confronted with this problem?

This is a serious question and not a piss take as some seem to think that's all I do on here.

Ask a steward (if you can find one) to remove the individual, then it's up to them to deal with it.

I've sat next to a Man U fan (from Manchester originally) and she was more knowledgable about football (and Swans come to that) than some of the meatheads on here.

That's up to them, but how anyone can't see a problem with someone sitting in the home fans showing colors of a team that's in the same division as you is beyond me.

All it takes one meathead, imagine if we went 1-0 down, with whats going on at the club right now you either have to be thick as two short planks or insane.

If he's sitting there watching the game and minding his own business, you should take some pics of him which he should object to, then once he starts acting in an aggressive manner, run to the stewards and tell on him.

Was he in the family stand on his own?
If so why?

The amount of empty seats around the ground, he nearly was on his own

I see everyone ripping into Clydach, but in my opinion he does have a valid point.

In this age of health and safety at football grounds, surely there should be a "home colours only, in the home end " rule.

If there is, why didn't the stewards act when it was brought to their attention ?

If there isn't, there should be.

Get ripping.

Totally agree. The next time we play Liverpool at home, if i see anyone with a Man Utd top on, i shall instruct the stewards to escort him to the away end where he will be safe.

The guy is a prick. Wears another teams colours and sits in the family stand where he is 90% sure that he will not get any grief. He probably could have got tickets for the east stand but clearly didn’t fancy it as he knew the reaction he would provoke and most likely get.

For all those saying it’s not a problem go and sit in Leicester’s home end in your swans gear and see what happens. Best of luck with that.

Our fan base has gone soft.

There's been incidents of away fans sitting all over the stadium in recent seasons Alan, it's not just the Family stand where this happens.
