Traffic light, even Newport, happily ensconced in the Village Inn, chippy next door, can eat it in the pub.

A bit of a hike up the hill, then hopefully a good win against the Rovers of Forest Green.

I'm smuggling in a ham sandwich, in protest at their vegan only food menu.

I went to a Forest Green to watch us in a pre-season friendly about 15 years ago.
Jack Russell was there.

86 Swans fans there.

If I was a home fan, I'd be cursing the club for the mile long walk up the hill; as steep as Constitution Hill but 4 times as long.

Eventually at the top, met by a decent stadium, with friendly fans & stewards. Open terrace, a mild evening but by half time got rather chilly. I wouldn't like to be there in minus temperatures.

As mentioned vegan food and drink, so didn't indulge on principal (all grounds do veggie options, why couldn't they do meaty options?).

Decent game, FGR decent team, thought 2-0 flattered us a little although we deserved the win.

Back in Swansea by midnight. Home tie in the next round, so mission accomplished.

That hill was a killer going up, but a pleasure going down👍😂

Nice club, good set up, would park near the top of the hill if we ever play them again or do some training (practice runs on constitution hill) 😂
