Second half kicked off very late because they had to set up a stage and speakers at half time. Was at least 30 minutes at half time.
Grenfell game. on 19:39 - Sep 2 with 3551 views | SteveB | I thought it was a brilliant event, really enjoyable and came across superbly on TV. So proud of my Football Club right now. Trust The Sun online to post a negative spin on it, focusing more on a pitch invasion "spoiling the day" Utter khunts. The article was shared on my FB page, I'm not going to post a link - it's out there if you really need to see it..
Grenfell game. on 19:43 - Sep 2 with 3542 views | NoDiddley | Proud to be a Ranger watching that. It's done a whole lot of good to 'non football ' types as well, showing as a club what we are about. I bet you now the aforementioned will recognise the shirt & perhaps comment. I'll give it a go tomorrow in deepest ESSEX!
Grenfell game. on 20:04 - Sep 2 with 3448 views | nix | We had a fantastic time. Great event played in a brilliant spirit. Lovely to see Sinclair score another lovely free kick. Think Mo is still running. Well done Tony, Sir Les, Marcus Mumford and everyone else involved. Also great support for the fire fighters, survivors and volunteers. And was introduced to some new celebs. Dave appeared to be a particular favourite up our end.
Grenfell game. on 20:16 - Sep 2 with 3404 views | 1MoreBrightonR | Mo was hilarious. Looked like he had the time of his life and the crowd appreciated it. Pitch invasion was silly but was 95% kids who don't know better. Having said that, the 5% of adults who came on and pranced around....it just baffles me. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Grenfell game. on 21:44 - Sep 2 with 3069 views | runningman75 | Jose seemed a great character and went up in my estimation after his time at Scumford Bridge, I was in South Africa road but saw him go over to the Loft and left someone take a selfie.

Yes, I think he enjoyed it in a pantomime villain kind of way.

He had about 200 selfies taken with QPR fans before and after the penalties. I have to say Mourinho, you are a top man. Was brilliant with the young QPR fans today.

This +1. Everything about today was handled fantastically. Great to see the fans turn up for this in big numbers. Very proud of my club. Kudos to the celebs and ex-players for their contribution and in particular to Jose - never imagined I'd see him playing in goal wearing a QPR shirt. Fabulous stuff.

Grenfell game. on 22:52 - Sep 2 with 2822 views | DWQPR | He took it very well. Even when preparing for the first corner against him with the likes of Bircham and Ferdinand deciding to 'rough him up a bit' on the goal line. The whole day was a joy and done in exactly the right tone. Would be great to think that the amount raised will get somewhere close to seven figures once the text donantions and sponsorship has been taken into account. [Post edited 2 Sep 2017 22:52]

Grenfell game. on 01:34 - Sep 3 with 2611 views | Nov77 | it was great seeing the likes of Wilson, Impey and especially sir les back out in front of the loft wearing the Rangers shirt. Seaman, sinton and Sinclair too, brought back a lot of great memories. Gallen and bircham seemed to be having a right old battle. Surprised no ones mentioned that moment when Gallen was about to shoot and bircham flung himself head first to try block tackle him with his head!

Grenfell game. on 10:25 - Sep 3 with 2160 views | BushRanger82 | Thoroughly enjoyed the 'Game4Grenfell.' Great turn out as well from QPR fans which was especially pleasing to see. All in all, if we could approach our 'bread and butter' business, winning football games, ALL football games, with the same professionalism as we do community work, we'd be one of the best football clubs in England, without a shadow of a doubt.
Grenfell game. on 11:09 - Sep 3 with 2067 views | francisbowles | It was a strange morning and early afternoon getting ready and travelling up to Loftus Road to see a game not involving my team. However, when the squads came out I realised it was even better than usual as my beloved blue and white hoops were playing my beloved hoops in away kit! What a great day, great fun, lots of laughs and a fitting tribute which must have raised 'loads of money' for a truly deserving cause. Not a bad game either plenty of effort and action, Trev's fantastic goal, penalties and the opportunity for some survivors, volunteers and fire fighters to pull on some boots. Well done to ALL involved at the club and elsewhere. [Post edited 3 Sep 2017 11:10]

Grenfell game. on 11:20 - Sep 3 with 2028 views | PlanetHonneywood | Fair play to Les, Tony and all involved, QPR have done really well here and done and acted with compassion and distinction and hopefully, those who were and will remain affected by Grenfell, got something out of it. This is what little old QPR have done, seems far more noteworthy than the local authorities and the government for that matter, have done thus far!!

It was planned to have a 30 minute break because of the halftime entertainment.
