Can't see Keith in for the job.Club no doubt appeals to him, the situation far less so I'm sure.

Venkies haven't got the brains to appoint somebody like Hill. I can't see past David Dunn. Cheap option and sure to fail.

Tim Sherwood.

"Analysis - Andy Bayes, BBC Radio Lancashire

Paul Lambert deciding to leave is no surprise.

"Over recent weeks he has grown increasingly frustrated at the lack of communication from the owners in India, with regards his plans for next season.

"His departure next month will leave Blackburn Rovers without a manager, chairman, chief executive or managing director. A situation that can not continue going forward."

The above and recently announced debts of £102.4m should be enough to put anyone off, never mind Keith Hill.

Let that be a warning to people looking for outside investors. The Indians have taken over a Premier League club and brought it to it's knees in about 5 or 6 years and run up a £100 million debts in the process !

According to Grant Holt he is the best manager he's played for.

Yes but Leicester were on a sound footing because they dont pay their bills , they build new stadiums then go deliberately bust. Lovely club such a great advert for the premiership.

League Cup semi finals with Wycombe, back to back promotions with Norwich, there's a hell of a lot worse out there than Lambert.

Yes Villa were awful when he was there but they have been awful under everyone since O'Neill walked out and nobody has made a success of working with Venky's at Blackburn.

In the past, Hill has spoke highly of Blackburn's previous manager Gary Bowyer - I'm sure they are quite good friends - and I'm sure Bowyer would let him know the full situation at Blackburn were Hilly to be interested.

Wycombe and Norwich were a few years back. Since then....

Absolutely there are worse out there and all of them seem to keep getting work!

Nobody will make a success of the Blackburn job while Venkies are " in charge ". They don't even bother to turn up for games. It's a rudderless ship.
