Has this game just been classed as all ticket now or have i missed the other previous statements? Either way a ridiculous idea and a sure way of knocking a good amount off the gate too

It was made all ticket shortly after the fixtures came out, along with bury and Sheffield United.
When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

What does this achieve really? If anyone's planning on causing bother on the day, they won't be put off by having to buy a ticket online. Meanwhile the casual supporter who's bringing a mate now has to ask the mate for cash up front, go and put the money in the bank, ring a premium rate number and then queue up for a ticket. Bollocks to all that.

I think The Plod have a lot to do with this decision Brigger...........last year's fisty-cuffs will have ensured that......and the Latiques blamed the Dale
No win situation for the Club.........bollocks as you say. Still one I would not want to miss despite the hassle.

Quite right, can't blame the club on this one, just frustrated at the situation. All is not lost though, Brighouse Town are away at Harrogate Railway Athletic so at least the missus will be able to have a look at some classy shops while I get my fix.

Seem to remember something about it now you mention it,still fail to see what making the game all ticket achieves as others mentioned it wont stop anybody either buying a ticket in the home end or causing bother if thats their intent. It only serves to piss people off and reduce the floating fans who cant make a decision till the day, however they dress it up making a game all ticket for what will be a half empty stadium is ridiculous.

Make the game all ticket that's one thing and fair enough.
Allocated seating though is horrible and will put plenty off.
You end up buying early and sometimes getting a worse view.
What if you want to be three quarter way back in the stand and get row 1.
It was not allocated at giggle last week and it worked fine. First in best choice of seats!
We will know how many are travelling FFS!.
I wondered that about allocated/non allocated seats? If bury do it and we dont? Is it because we have a bigger stand (3600) as opposed to their (1800)? Cant see it really - imagine if we had sold all 1800 non allocated last Saturday and you are the 1800'th person trying to find your seat? No chance.
Its a BRILLIANT goal to cap a BRILLIANT start by Rochdale - Don Goodman 26/08/10
Club can't win sometimes. They used unallocated last year and Oldham sold out 3,200 resulting in Oldham fans in home ends. So we allocate them the full 3,500 and now people question that decision. Fans up and down the country manage to sit in an allocated seat no problem and we have hosted games against Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday using an allocated seating system with no problems whatsoever. Home fans can chose specific seats anyway so there are no issues there either.

I agree. All ticket games will always reduce the number of floating fans, but if we were both flying near the top there would be no talk of this, just people getting their tickets sorted. The decision had to be made in advance, and it's doubtful the police would agree to relax it after what went on last time.
If making it all ticket last year had put a few of the idiots off chancing coming in the home end, then it's a shame it wasn't.

I think it is right to have allocated tickets for the away fans, which allows more to be sold, but I don't think it's necessary for the home fans, as there is not going to be anything like a sell out.
Stupid question I know, but really want to make sure. I ordered a ticket online for collection. Then saw the all ticket note about no sales on the day. It will be ok to collect on the day of the game, right?

I would think so as you bought them before Saturday.
