Based on current form the U's are going up.

At the start of the season I predicted a top six finish.

I then thought that TH was not the man to take us forward after another disastrous start, but the inspired signing of Marvin Sordell has transformed the U's.

Sordell, Harriott and Massey offer a potent attacking threat. George Moncur is the best attacking midfield player in league One and the return to the team of Chris Porter will only strengthen our attacking options. Similarly Owen Garvan is a superb acquisition to the team.

Yes the U's are going up.

And could TH replicate what Parky did - incredible to think but it could happen!

Steady Durham. When you have supported U's for as long as we have collectively, you know that "anything" can happen in the next nine months...and probably will!

Hi Gerry

I just have a feeling that this season could emulate 2006!

Time for my medication perhaps!

Whilst I'm delighted to see us winning some games I think the fact that we have the worst defensive record in League 1 gives me cause for concern.

If we can keep the current squad together until the end of the season I don't see any reason why we should worry about relegation. Talk of much else is a little premature unless we also sort out the defending.

Poll: Safe standing at football; yes, know or don't know?

I listened, then had the privilege of watching the 11 minute highlight reel on U's Player .. and I had to shake my head how good the early balls were, the through passes, the crosses.

Basic passing that I haven't seen in eons of this quality.

It appears to be TH's absolute philosophy, better to lose 3-2 if necessary than go down without a fight 1-0. It's absolutely beautiful football. And our keeper Jamie is not chopped liver.

As Leadbelly wrote, work on making the defending better.

What a great group of youngsters. Ok. Humes in

No black / white option - careful, any club could potentially do a Notts County .

Dream season. After today. This is turning crazy. Relegation, no chance in heck. We're playing with house money.

I wonder what NOTTS COUNTY fans would've said this time last year, when they won 5 games in a row and were 3rd at the end of October? ;)

Defeated Mansfield 2-0?
Posh 0-0 Notts County
County 1-1 Orient
County O-O Oldham
Crew 0-3 Notts County
NC 1-0 Gills
Scuns 1-2 NC
NC 5-3 Crawley
Barnsley 2-3 NC
Scunny 0-1 NC

Yeah, I'm worried. The U's know how to defeat good teams in comparison to what Notts County did in 2014 leading to the end of October '14.
