Apparently the fixtures are out on Wednesday (WTF?)

Who do we want on the opening day? Think we've had it pretty good the last few years, can't actually remember the last time we were away on the first day?

Ideal would be Rotherham or somebody at home. You just know it'll be this year with Hull away.

I think home form this year is going to be even more important than ever, so a nice "easy " start would help, Watford, Sunderland and Villa would be good.... Oh wait a minute

It's being so happy that keeps me going.

I'm pretty sure that I've read somewhere that we aren't allowed to be at home the weekend of the Notting Hill Carnival; so if that is correct and the pattern of H/A/H/A is followed the we "should" be at home on the opening day.

(followed by Brighton as our first away, I wish )

Apart from the opening day win against Sheffield Wed when last in the Championship, our recent opening home matches have been disastrous. I predict we will be away this time, at Derby !!

There aint half been some clever bastards.

Come on. How does no one realise. They always start the season with a Friday night live game, usually with a relegated team. It is 99% guaranteed it will be Derby at home on Friday night. Two new managers. There manager we were interested in, relegated team, team who failed promotuon bid but are now favourites, previous play-off game. Its bound to happen

Don't really care. We play all of them twice once at home once away

Flying home from Barbados and landing on that Saturday morning, so for me it has to be MK Dons away, so that I can get a few hours kip and get a taxi down to the ground.

Poll: Where will Clive put QPR in his new season preview
