Anyone else find it strange that he's already talking about the January transfer window? Seems he can't get out of here quick enough.
He mentioned that other clubs will be put off because he'll be playing in the AFCON, so he doesn't expect to leave in January. Quite disappointed he's come out with this now. Why's he thinking of leaving already? We're only a month and a half into the new season!

In fairness to Gomis, he's hardly had a chance. Played ok in the cups, admittedly missed a sitter at Chelsea, but most teams won't fare well against them this season, and had a lackluster performances (as did most of the players) against Sunderland. Think he needs a good run of games before he can be adequately judged. | | | |

Pains me to say it but Bony and Gylfi look head and shoulders above the rest of our team and will be a target for other clubs next summer.
Im also quite sure that Bony was due to leave us in the summer but nobody fancied paying the going rate, Liverpool have dropped the mother of all boll@ks by instead signing Lambert and Balotelli , Everton payed over the odds for Lukaku, Arsenal maybe did decent buisness for welbeck but IMO all those clubs perhaps missed a trick and some will be regreting that now.
Wilf wont be staying here for very long, same with siggy, but we should at least get the right money for both of them.

Yes Bony has played well this season . Yes some touches and passes don't come off, just like they don't always with Siggy.
Bony defends well, holds it up nearly every single time when knocked long to him, buys us free kicks when we are under pressure,works centre halves and creates space for others and scores goals.
Not sure what else you expect to be honest! how many clear goal scoring chances has he fluffed? two of his chances on saturday wernt misses they were world class saves!
A certain goal cleared off the line against Southamton too .
