Celtic goalkeeper Frazer Forster is reportably about to join Saints but there is a little matter to sort out first.
The national media is reporting that Saints and Celtic have agreed an £8 million pound deal to take the England International keeper to St mary's but before the deal can go through Celtic need to exit the Champions League in their second leg clash with Legia Warsaw in Glasgow .
Celtic are 4-1 down after the first leg and have a depleted side after a red card over in Warsaw, however they are a side noted for their comebacks, so cant be written off yet.
It will be interesting to see what will happen if Celtic do win through and whether that will put an end to the deal or merely stall it a little, even if they go through the fact is all Forster can look forward to is another landslide Scottish Premier League title win and a fairly early exit in the Champions League.
Perhaps the key point will be that if Forster is to push to become first choice in the Egland squad he will need to be playing more competitive football than he will get with Celtic, if they go out of the Champions League it will make the deal easy and quick to do as well as more acceptable to Celtic fans, if they stay in to fight another day then it could be a little sticky but not unsurmountable.
