Refwatch Preview: Bristol Rovers (h) Thursday, 15th Nov 2012 05:53 by TVOS First-year referee Scott Duncan is the man in the middle for Dale’s home game against Bristol Rovers on Saturday. The Newcastle-based official was promoted to the league this summer having progressed through the ranks in recent seasons. We were due to see him for our visit to Rotherham in September, but he withdrew the day before the game through injury and was replaced by Steve Martin. Scott has had a busy start to his Football League career and Saturday will be his tenth match of the season. He started with Port Vale’s 3-0 home defeat of Barnet on the opening day of the campaign and has travelled even further south to referee Northampton v AFC Wimbledon and Cheltenham v Southend! His most recent match was 11 days ago when he took charge of Doncaster v Crewe in League One. In his previous nine games this term Scott has shown 17 yellow cards and as yet, no red.
