Refwatch Preview: MK Dons (h) Friday, 4th Mar 2011 19:18 by TVOS Leeds-based referee Jonathan Moss is the man in the middle for Saturday’s League One fixture against MK Dons. Mr Moss, a primary school Headteacher in Halifax, is in his sixth season as a league referee and is taking charge of his 11th Dale game. We last saw him at Barnet on the final day of last season, while his most recent match at Spotland was for the 1-0 defeat by Wycombe in September 2008. Jonathan’s first match at this level was Shrewsbury v Dale on the opening day of the 2005/06 campaign, while his six visits to Spotland have included friendlies against Manchester City in 2006 and Bolton two years later. Mr Moss’ full Dale record is: Aug 2005 v Shrewsbury (a), W 1-0 Nov 2005 v Brentford (h, FAC), L 0-1 Jul 2006 v Man City (h, F), L 2-3 Dec 2006 v Wrexham (h), D 2-2 Apr 2008 v Morecambe (h), W 1-0 Jul 2008 v Bolton (h, F), D 0-0 Sep 2008 v Wycombe (h), L 0-1 Oct 2009 v Grimsby (a), W 2-0 May 2009 v Barnet (a), L 0-1 So far this season, Jonathan has refereed 29 games, showing 57 yellow cards and five red. Two of those games have been in the Premier League – Blackpool v Birmingham and Wigan v Aston Villa – as Mr Moss earned his chance to officiate at that level due to good performances in the Football League. Last Friday he was on Sky refereeing Notts County v Charlton, while next Tuesday Jonathan is in the middle at Bristol City v Portsmouth.
