No idea if true, but a Tranmere fan with whom I went to uni with, has just gone nuts messaging me asking if the rumour he is hearing, that Gill's wanted by them as their next manager is true?
The difference between a team at the top and one lacking true quality. Cardiff have looked threatening on times needing several chances for a goal, however it always seemed Sheff U could score at will.
Missing a trick if we don't sign one of their players, despite being not particularly impressive, it will be one for the fans in the stands..."Callum Lang ....yn llawn daioni!"
I'm pretty sure we still are getting installments on the McBurnie transfer (significant payments too), so Sheff Utd having issues isn't a good thing for the club.
Normally I'd agree, but he's looked like this since he started. I do feel some sympathy for him in some ways though, as he is so far out of his depth at Championship level. He needs a solid defence to help him, but with Wood and Cabango mostly in front of him, he genuinely has had zero help.
I'd take Carrie Fisher in her current state than Andy. It's hard to imagine a more nervous, fragile looking keeper playing at this level. His decision making is woeful, and his lack of ability to command his area beggars belief.
Then again what's in front of him protecting his net, he could be the second coming of Dino Zoff, and I think he'd still see more action than a pro down Tiger Bay.
Apparently got there riding on their own self importance.
Ah yes the carbon balance of streaming live through thousands of servers and computers (over time). Holding the concert in a city that no doubt has the highest air pollution levels in the country , creating a greater spike due to more transport to the event.
Peter (Botch), his brother, was my PE teacher through comp. He hated me solely based that he disliked my father where they often "disagreed" on the rugby field.
It was odd as I recently scanned old photos of my mother and in one of her old school photos of her final year of grammar school, JJ was directly behind her.
The problem arises though when the "what if" becomes reality. Never worried about things until they happen.
I coasted through life until around 28, not a care, everything pretty much going well, then a simple thing like getting off the floor after laying on a bean bag changed my life.
From what I initially thought, and was initially diagnosed with, a trapped nerve, has ended with me discovering a lot of things that I was in no way prepared for. Various health issues following, and a loss of income, a loss of friends (although wife and both our families have been rocks), it becomes harder to remain happy and go lucky.
You put on a face for the world but inside you have those demons, but personally has made me more adept at dealing with things. A strengthening every time something new goes wrong when you overcome...... also helps I am emotionally autistic.
I hope he does not get into trouble for sponsorship exploitation. If you look closely at the folds in the jersey directly below the Digicel logo, he seems to be promoting the new Star Wars film. The folds appear to pay homage to the face of a certain Mr. J. T . Hutt..
