| Forum Thread | Retro chants today at 23:12 13 May 2018
Well done to those who started them off. Created a load of smiles, stopped the boring moaning, and we were up their end the whole time it was going on. More next year. Must be some Allchurch chants we can dig out? |

| Forum Thread | Graham Alexander at 13:13 24 Dec 2017
Definitely worth considering. Young and upwardly mobile manager, Scunthorpe are doing very well under him, and it’s an even bigger sh*thole than Swansea so he might be willing to move unlike any Championship manager still in a job Let’s face it who else are we going to get apart from some old has-been or never-was |
| Forum Thread | What does “We want our Club back” actually mean? at 22:52 17 Dec 2017
I’ve read about 400 pages of threads on here and all I have found is things we don’t want: - We don’t want Huw - We don’t want the American owners - We don’t want the Trust Board - We don’t want the Trust to sell its shares - We don’t want Clement - We don’t want Routledge, Naughton, Clucas, Ki (rotate by the week) Some old girl behind me at Burnley was shouting on non-stop “We want our club back”. No answer when we asked her if it was the Division 3 or Division 4 club she wanted back. Personally I was happy with relegation this time last year and I’m happy with it this year. Starting every season thinking we’ll be happy with 16th place is garbage. Looking forward to trips to Sheffield, Nottingham, Leeds and even Millwall. And winning a few games and thinking maybe we might make the top six. What exactly do you want to happen in positive terms for the club? In terms of an in tray, as opposed to an out tray? Strikes me no one actually has any ideas for that. |
| Forum Thread | Today's crowd should be ashamed at 20:14 23 Sep 2017
The crowd today was an utter disgrace. Five minutes in and I heard the first shouts of "Get into them, f**k them up". The chant of the idiot who doesn't know why they are there or what they are watching. Kick the ball long and lose possession, they are happy. Twenty five minutes in and the booing starts. Why not just f**k off home, or not come in the first place? I went to my first game in 1977. For most of that time we have been in League One or Two. We are lucky to be in the PL and we have no divine right to beat Watford, Burnley or Huddersfield, let alone Spurs or Arsenal. We are living in ridiculously fortunate times. So were Wigan until recently. By all means talk bollocks on this board about who you would pick if you were the manager instead of a welder or a shop assistant. At the games, we should stand together and behind the team. Grow up the f***ing lot of you. |
| Forum Thread | Has ANY player left us and done well? at 17:49 19 Feb 2017
Just been talking to the GF about this (having just realised that Danny Graham still exists) but she asked me to shut up so now I am bringing it here. Has any player left us and genuinely succeeded at a bigger club since we won promotion? Only one I can think of who could begin to argue it is Ben, and he is at best a first team squad member not a first teamer at Spurs. Wilf, Scotty, Caulker, Borini, de Guzman - moved to genuinely bigger clubs (Spurs in Caulkers case!) and failed Doris, Pratley, Vorm, Shelvey, Graham - moved sideways then downwards Have I forgotten someone? No cracks about Taylor or Rory Donnelly please. |
