Aside from the Cup FInal that never was, I think my lowest moment as a Rangers fan was Oxford away when we faded away from the Championship with that totally cr*p team in 2001 (?). I think it was the night some of our fans put Ray Harford's windows in.
Sh*t weather, sh*t ground, sh*t performance, one of those games that really had you questioning the point of it all, only a few years after we had been a top quality Prem outfit.
The foul on Morgan was right in front of us, he took a hard arm to the face but to be honest I think it was an accident from the Norwich player. Wouldn't have looked too pretty on replay though, and definitely a foul at the very least
That’s what won it for us today. We must have won more tackles in that game than we have all season by some distance. Smyth, Saito, Dunne and Varane leading the charge. Kolli the same up front, and the usual tough stuff from Cook and Morrison.
No idea why we’ve been so passive this season but it was night and day today, we won that game by bring more physical and niggly and agressive and long may it continue. And all that without Field our tackler-in-chief
Wonderful video of my manor - I had a Mes pie (ox cheek) and mash and gravy for my dinner just last night! Highly recommended if you’re in the area and prices aren’t silly either, the owner is a top bloke
- outstanding at the back and in goal once again, Morrison looks a great signing - two quality finishes from… Jan Celar!!! Let’s hope he goes on a tear. That ball from Ashby at the end was probably the first time all season any of our midfield has played him in? Something to ponder now we know he can do it
The team hasn’t given up that’s for sure - we’re not a great team on paper but at least we’re showing some fight
I work around digital advertising, and it’s long been dead as a platform for any serious company.
As Clive says the interaction is now down to zero, and it’s been totally gamed by its owner to allow bots and extremism (on all sides) to flourish. Nobody will touch it.
I’m fully aware Musk doesn’t give a fk, the hundreds of millions he’s lost on Twitter were always a marketing cost to get him what he wants (power and a weird cult-like popularity he can’t get in real life) and he’s up on the deal.
I agree, he definitely has a great range of first touch and long passing in him, and can clearly finish, but unless he learns to battle and earn the chance to play, it's not going to matter.
He can't disappear for large chunks of the game, or hide when our defence is looking for an out ball.
Look at Boro, their equivalent 10 was picking the ball up from the defence/midfield all game. We didn't do it once.
