One small point which I appreciate is not ultimately for the ref, Nardi was quite clearly out cold for a couple of seconds, the ref was first on the scene and so clearly knew he was out cold, yet the physio is allowed to come on, say the player who 30 seconds ago didn’t know which continent he is on was fine and he’s allowed to continue… |

No, I post it as I’m in the position to know it is a fact. Kolli’s dad talking about it publicly *should* be a pretty clear confirmation for you of the provenance of the fact, but obviously I respect that you have entrenched yourself in a contrarian position and Nourry publicly admitting it would fall on deaf ears for you.
Nourry obviously didn’t get the job because he claims to have 11 years of experience. Hoos is not a total idiot, he knew full well that wasn’t true and Nourry was only a 26 year old recruitment consultant. Hoos however was desperate to step back, Nourry bullshits well and the clubs owners are absolutely not in a position to be doing any due diligence on people recommended to them for their vanity project. |

The club needs to sell him so of course he walks back in.
Tricky one though as he is clearly the most talented player at the club but his need to slow everything down is at odds with how we have had our limited success under Cifuentes. |

Someone being given a CEO role based upon ‘11 years of experience in football’ becomes pretty damn important when they turn out to be a 26 year old recruitment consultant for him 10 of those 11 years were running a blog about football.
It’s like Starmer making a graduate Chancellor of the Exchequer based on ‘21 years of finance experience’ watching people pay for items on a credit card.

We had the 6 second rule before and it just led to the stupidity of the ref waving wildly at the goalie to get on with it, who didn’t, because refs were afraid to give an indirect free kick against them.
The only way such a rule would be worth even thinking about is if it’s a set time to take a goal kick - keepers aren’t time wasting with the ball in their hands.
Also a set time for a corner/throw in to be taken.
In reality though no ref is going to ever uphold it so it’s pointless. |

Nando’s is a case study of venture capital destroying a business.
When it first starting exploding it was pretty average quality food but you could get in and out for £10 if you tried.
The VC growth plans far exceeded supply however and they changed several years ago to terrible quality broiler chicken whisky whacking the prices up. You’d be lucky to get out for under £20 these days.. |

As I’ve bored everyone to tears with for months now, it’s a crazy situation where you have as your striking options Frey who is completely immobile but can put it about a bit, and his polar opposite Celar who is mobile, can finish but will never be a hold up striker.

Don’t really blame him to be honest. After the series of injuries robbed him of the electric first step to create space he realised he was never getting back to the top level again so might as well bank as much cash as possible, especially as he’s not going to still be around the game in his mid 30s. |
