I don't think its about 'acclaiming the likes of Sulemana & Onuauchu as saviours after just a couple of reasonable games' Its relief that two expensive players are now showing potential. 'two abysmal years' wasn't down to them more down to they way they were coached and managed. Sulemana has great pace and skill. Onuauchu is not a forward you get the best of by asking him to run around from one end of the the pitch to the other, hes best in the box making a nuisance of himself and making space for others. He is the only player we have of his sort up front. Make him a idol, dont moan if he misses a header or makes a poor pass because this guy will score goals given time.I have read that some have said he looks exhausted, well you would if you were his size playing the premiership but who popped up on the 87 min at Ipswich to win us the game? Onuauchu 10 starts(how many did he stay on for 90min?)15 as sub well I hazard a guess most of those when we were losing and for a few minutes in the second half. Give the guy a chance, its not as if we have much choice. Make him a idol, cheer him because teams he is playing against find him a real problem.
I would just like to thank Adam Armstrong for his goal on a memorable day at Wembley. Alongside Shane Longs goal against Liverpool it has to go down as one of the most memorable goals scored for us. Wishing you all the best,Alan ,you always gave 100% for Saints.
He runs around a lot out wide which I don't thinks suits him, I'd prefer him in the middle with Tall Paul. Anyway that's water under the bridge now. Worries me we are a couple of injuries away from a crisis up front.
