| Your Report | Queens Park Rangers v Coventry City Your Report added at 08:46:52 No goals in the squad. No natural finishers, no-one willing to gamble in the oppo's box. The most any of these players has scored in a season is no more than 12. We will not score more than 35 league goals this season and that only ends one way. Aging cloggers were needed to give a voice to the changing room. One suspended, one knackered, just Begovic, who appears silent out there and Cook, who talked himself into the (albeit incompetent) ref's notebook. The defence cannot be relied on for cleansheets; add that to an inability to score and I now seriously doubt that we will be leaving the bottom three for the rest of this season. |
| Your Report | Queens Park Rangers v Middlesbrough Your Report added at 19:29:25 Lucky to get something out of that. We could not get the ball off them at times and liked giving it back to them. Their press suffocated us resulting in us going long and when your striker can't hold the ball up, it started again and again. We were much the better team at their place and won, they were much better at ours, but could only draw... |
| Your Report | Preston North End v Queens Park Rangers Your Report added at 22:59:55 Pretty damn dull to be honest. Both teams looked knackered on a heavy pitch in very wet conditions. Not a lot of quality on show from either team. My son and I had a giggle during the game around what would happen if this team did manage to scrape in the Play-offs and get into the Big League. It would be absolutely bloody hilarious (if you could avoid the embarrassment). Kane up against Messi next season; Dykes on the same pitch as Van Dijk; Dom Ball marking De Bruine - you get the picture... Not gonna happen though. |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 09:08:10 A routine win in the end, but the team's shape was wrong first half. Town exploited our lack of width well and should have taken at least one of their two or three clear chances. Second half, it felt as if there was only going to be one winner, even after their equaliser. Individually (player for player) we were streets and streets ahead of them, but I'm still concerned that Arry hasn't translated that to the team - there wasn't actually much between the teams in the end. |
