If you watch him after the first goal and Kolli's second, each time he pulls Kolli to one side from the celebrations and has a "captain's word" in his ear. Keeps his own head and goes into captain and team mode. A really good professional and asset to our club.
I've been a subscriber to Joolz Guides on youtube for several years now, and would recommend him if you're interested in London history, spotting the clues still there, and how areas have changed.
All really interesting content even if you're not that familiar with an area, and I quite like his delivery style.
My mum is still angry that they merged Wembley (considered posh) to Willesden (not considered posh) in the 1960s to form the London Borough of Brent, and blames Wembley's decline on that.
Having lived 200m north of the north circ for 22 years, I also considered my address "Wembley, Middx, with a Harrow postcode" although technically Middx didn't exist
To confuse matters more...I give you Greater London ... which is an adminstrative area that contains all 32 London boroughs including Brent and therefore Wembley and reflects the urban sprawl that London has become.
Post codes are just that...post codes... they belong to the Royal Mail I believe, which is a private company and has no bearing on actual borders.
Brian - For his calm measured responses & his music threads Disco - His own unique style. Makes me laugh Clive - For his wise words, his summing up of the mood every week, and for keeping this all going
The latest indie band from Ireland. From their new album Come & See. A little bit Fontines DC, a little bit Idles ... Catch them in a small venue while you can
As others have said, Valetta is stunning and Mdina and Gozo also great. We found the St Paul's Bay area and St Juliens a bit crowded, but should be ok this time of year. Two hidden gems...if you like classic cars there's a great museum in Bugibba and if you like reggae (proper reggae), there's a reggae bar on the very tip of St Paul's Bay at Qwara point. It's a bit hidden away, not very 'polished", but all the better for it
