Would probably be a stupid/bad signing, but the muppet in me would love to see Adel playing at Loftus Road in a QPR shirt again [Post edited 24 Jan 12:46]

Need to keep him until at least the summer. He causes chaos from set pieces and is always the target. The number of goals we score will decrease dramatically without him. You can also see his leadership on the pitch, hard to replace those kind of qualities, especially with such a young squad. |

Not blaming him, but told my mate when I saw Madsen coming on that this would end 2-2. Bloke is total bad luck whenever he steps on the pitch |

Did anyone else have a look at the Hull fan forum? They seem to be under the impression before the game that we'd be a 3-0 walkover |

Appreciate this point, but then i'd also argue he was partly at fault for the Norwich equaliser over Christmas where he was jogging rather than tracking his man. Had he done so he could have been in a position to close him down before he took the shot from which they scored (appreciate Paal also carries significant blame for this goal due to poor defending from the throw) |

Direct correlation between lack of minutes for Madsen and upturn in form. Send him to the reserves so he can't impact the team, cut our losses and sell him for whatever we can get. Absolute rubbish and waste of money. Never thought i'd dislike a player more than Dozzell, but here we are. Only real negative in a pretty likeable squad at the moment. Sickening to think what better use could have been done with the money spent (like a left back which we actually needed) [Post edited 8 Jan 12:38]

Good win and had we been more clinical could have been 4 or 5. The decision to play Edwards in midfield was a head scratcher, but was even more suprising that he chose this over playing Madsen there. I presume he was preferred to Colback (who rightly came on to fix the balance shortly after) due to fitness. This potentially means Madsen is now behind Varane, Field, Morgan, Colback, Andersen and Edwards in the pecking order for midfield. Absolutely crazy |

Agree about sending Santos and Walsh on loan (although i'm not sure many clubs would agree to a recall clause with such short notice). EDB is an odd one as think he's good enough to get game time from the bench, but Marti clearly doesn't fancy him. Paal should go if we get an offer for him (presuming we haven't got plans to extend his contract) and Madsen should go as he is total rubbish and League 2 standard at best. Celar i'd like to see given a chance. I truly believe his issue is confidence which he was just starting to regain prior to injury. Anderson and Colback will stay as depth and be gone in the summer. He's been excellent recently. His work rate and pace improve us hugely as a team. His end product is the only criticism of him. I genuinely believe that if he could consistently improve his decision making and end product then he would be a 8-10 million pound winger. |

Do people think we'd be able to sell Madsen in January if we tried? I thought it was interesting that he's now clearly fallen down the pecking order below Anderson. Hopefully means Marti can see how useless he is. [Post edited 30 Dec 2024 11:54]

Hate to say it about one of our players, but I can't stand him. Agree, total waste of space and pathetic footballer [Post edited 29 Dec 2024 14:29]

Does anyone know if Madsen went off inured or something? Haven't seen our star signing since he was supposedly subbed on |

Playing out from the back was clearly a danger to us this half. Why on earth did we keep persisting with it after earlier warning signs. Could have prevented that goal had we just cleared it. [Post edited 29 Dec 2024 14:22]

Poor game, but hoping it's a one off. Would rather Chair, Frey and Morrison start at Norwich if possible. Even if they have to come off at half time. Looked better when Chair and Frey came on today |
| Forum Reply | Where are the "Nourry out" comments now ??? at 01:31 22 Dec 2024
I think one of thing to consider is that we're only an injury to Paal and another CB away from being in trouble again. That lack of depth is something Nourry is accountable for. Whilat the team is winning the negative comments will obviously be quieter, but I don't think anyone would be sad to see him go. |

Nourry still carries some blame for me. Not enough cover in the squad (1 left back?) and still wasted loads of money on Madsen and Celar in my opinion. Even if we admit they have improved, similar quality could have been found for cheaper. I actually think the recent player development and improvement in team performance is a testament to Cifuentes and the job he is doing. I think he's a top manager and is covering Nourry's flaws. Don't suppose anyone knows any bars by Liverpool Street that might show the QPR game? All seem to be obsessed with showing Leeds |
