On more practical level it’s Morrison being fit to partner Cook, allowing Dunne to go to right back. Then Varane being back from suspension has made us much more solid too. Then more generally, likes of Field, Cook and Dunne are playing much better than they were. |

Better than Hayden now in my view. Recruitment we got right here. |

Field has to start. When away from home Varane is also a must. But at home vs Oxford…..tempted to start Morgan. |

Was thinking the same thing. And also look at the 3 games he missed due to suspension after that….3 defeats, 7 conceded against Hull, Derby and Portsmouth. |
| Forum Reply | Morrison, anyone notice? at 20:49 30 Nov 2024
Makes the timing of his injury all the more frustrating. He’s looking good although tired towards the end. |

Field was absolutely superb. We will miss him on Saturday. Whole team did well though. Feeling so much better than just before Stoke game. |

Anderson sliding in to win challenge right at the death sums up how much we’ve changed. |

Yeah I don’t get why some of this group are insulted like that. I see a lack of confidence but no lack of effort. The reaction of the squad to Celar scoring said it all to me. However I would say that at the games, the support has been excellent (for the most part) for the team. |

Was thinking the same thing but was he bad or as a team have they just not give him a chance. The balls, if you can call them that, to him are vaguely in his direction with 2 on him. |

And Nardi and Saito. I like Varane too but think I’m in a minority. |
| Forum Reply | Cifuentes gone? at 20:38 25 Nov 2024
He sounds different. Almost more upbeat and more like his old self. I liked what he said about Celar too. |

Do any of the candidates actually want to come here? |
| Forum Reply | Cifuentes gone? at 15:28 24 Nov 2024
The Morrison performance does show that we have been very unlucky this season. He has surgery just as the JCS goes down injured. Completely disrupts the central defence and in turn midfield with field having to move back. |
| Forum Reply | Cifuentes gone? at 15:19 24 Nov 2024
Well Morrison and Saito were definitely 2 of our best players yesterday. |
| Forum Reply | Cifuentes gone? at 15:13 24 Nov 2024
Yeah how I saw it. Morgan did well against Coventry and Sunderland but since then he’s been poor. Against Boro, he left Varane completely on his own in the middle. And yesterday, he just looked so rushed and no composure. I’m just hoping / praying than this is start of something. To get out of this mess, we need Madsen to be good for us in creativity and goals. |
| Forum Reply | Cifuentes gone? at 15:08 24 Nov 2024
Well I wasn’t looking at the stats, it was just how I saw the game but I have now. Madsen made 4 key passes and Morgan Nil. Madsen had 37 touches and was playing in an advanced role. Madsen had same number as touches as Field and was on the pitch for less time. |
| Forum Reply | Celar at 15:02 24 Nov 2024
What player were you defending. Completely agree with you both by the way. Neither him or Madsen should have been booed either. |
