One think nobody can question is Smyth's work rate and his pace has really helped us plus he is pretty durable despite some heavy challenges . His crosses are below average and only for Koli risked breaking his neck that ball was never reaching Haaland (I mean Sam )to bury in the net. I wish sometimes Dunne would whip in a cross from his angle instead or releasing Smyth and being forced wide and deep before crossing its too predictable IMO. Smyth should cut inside dribble straight into the box and get hacked down (its happened ) or deliver a shot across the keeper it would be much more effective . Call me Marti I am available |

Clive has been talking about this for a year or so I think saying Field should be scoring way more even close to double digits so maybe its finally happening. Normally his second goal would have ended up outside in the road but he slammed it low into the corner like a seasoned striker. His misses have cost us so far but if he keeps scoring a goal every few games it would be massive for us .His heart and passion is undeniable its easy to see why every QPR manager loves him. |

Very sweet thank you Boston. Finally one of Paul Smyth crosses ended up with us scoring that should get him out of the LFW firing line for a while .Second goal by Sam a strikers finish and nice to see another team dick around with the ball and lose it for a change . Pity that header did not find the corner not too many hat tricks for QPR players lately or ever. Something good is happening can everybody sense it or is it just me |

Lets worry about the next one first in America, Mexico and Canada .I promised my daughter we are going to see a WC game in the US and I might have also mentioned Ireland would be there . ( a few beers consumed probably more than a few ) We just need to avoid a group of death then hope our opponents come down with some virus ,flu or eat bad food so we can get a few wins . The WC in 2034 is so far off its hard to focus but there is no way it should be in SA I feel but like golf and most top level sports they have unlimited money and it talks . Did I mention FIFA suck balls btw |

Great preview until the last line where you picked us to lose Clive. Are you hoping your streak of picking us to lose (and we win or draw ) continues like some reverse physcology terrible spelling I know haha . With our good fortune finally showing up we will get a penalty tonight and Madsen will bury it and QPR will win a second home game in a row to make this place even happier . |

Great post here ParkRoyalR I was very dissapointed to see Cook laughing with that wa*ker McClean while the clown of a ref was takling to both captains .He measured up a young kid trying to establish himself and caught him in the face it should have led to some retribution from us . The fact the ref saw nothing and the Lino was a few yards away just shows their incompetence. Might be worth having a look at the Madsen ankle breaker also another no card there FFS |

I was sent to stand in a corner this week for suggesting they were title contenders and scoring at will. Nothing I watched today changes that and they were 2-0 down to boot. Palmer was sitting behind so many City players when he asked to be sold now he is miles ahead of all them with his overall play. That second penalty showed some serious balls to be honest but the kid is a perfect 12 out of 12 for Chelsea and bagged at least 1 for England |

Right thats it I am throwing in the towel here on LFW Mid summer posters are saying we were top 6 material for sure I bet $100 to cash in so that went to sh*t pretty fast. 2 weeks ago poster were pretty sure we were doomed so I went and put another $100 on us getting relegated now thats gone to sh*t thankfully Now Boston is saying we are top half material so I have to root around in the sock drawer for another $100 its a lot of pressure |

Field was basically MOM against Watford and only missed yesterday through suspension so he will be back starting against Oxford for sure . Marti loves him also and he is always available to play despite all the knocks he gets fair play to him. |

Thank you and Nix for pointing this out its been completly overlooked.I mentioned it on the match thread and on another thread last night but Norwich should have been given 2 straight red cards (one on Morgan and one on Madsen ) yet not even a fcuking yellow the ref was a joke. Look at the red card Lewis got for Man City yesterday and compare it to the ankle breaker on Madsen yet nothing that is a travesty of justice .We got 5 yellow cards they got 2 and one was for the striker who abused the ref all day yet only got one for pushing our guy into the boards I simply give up. Ok I will calm down and wait for Clive's match report and see if its a 2 just because he did not give them a clear penalty otherwise a 0 |
| Forum Reply | Madsen today at 01:01 8 Dec 2024
He also got crushed in a tackle which did not even draw a yellow card from that useless ref and I wont mention the straight red that should have been shown for the arm to the face on Morgan .We got 5 yellow they only got 2 that is beyond belief to my eyes . Jimmy Dunne scored from Madsens excellent corner so I would agree he was good today and improving every game |

I thought I heard Andy Sinton mention it today Smyth has a bad habit of going to ground and trying to con the refs instead of battling through . He works real hard but when he cocks back that left leg to cross the ball we can get up and make a sandwich no goal is coming |

Jesus I thought you said Stormy Daniels there for a second Ned that would ruin Clives great mood haha. Just kidding but look at the change on LFW in 2 weeks its day and night really and we are playing with at least 5 regular starters out and we still picked up ground just amazing really |

I saw it a bit different than you bosh67 I thought Paal was poor and got caught in posession multiple times leading to Norwich attacks .Plus his sh*t corner going wide always bugs me as very selfish .He did manage that superb deliver for Koli to head home so that made up for it I suppose . |

Stay safe everyone lets keep this happy feeling through the weekend. The Father /Daughter duo did mention Norwich give up lots of goals and they were correct |

Excellent work as usual Boston what a day for every QPR fan around the globe |
| Forum Reply | Jimmy Dunne at 00:13 8 Dec 2024
It was posted here Wednesday I think on the Jimmy Dunne thread so got buired at the last page but probably should have been its own thread .Posters wanted to pay their respects but probably did not want to highlight it on a new thread . Jimmy was superb today and the fact he was hacking away in that scrum and managed to swint his left leg and ram it home was so perfect.Blowing kisses to the QPR fans and pointing to the heavens was pure joy and meant so much to him and his family I suspect . Fair play to him RIP Eamon |
