In the press conference Harry was asked about Luke Young, he said that he spoke to him yesterday and he is available next week (fitness wise) but not in the squad as we know.
This to me is another reason for optimism, there have been regular reports/examples of the previous regime not communicating - Faurlin shirt number, Barton captaincy, DJ in limbo. Players that find things out through social media or other players rather than a quick and direct chat. This is another thing missing that Harry's style clearly works to deal with and I am sure it will bring better attitudes out of the team.

What has trust got to do with it? It is the just a way of dealing with players, a man management style... Hughes was obviously distant and there were a lot of reports of him just freezing out the people he had no interest in without even a courtesy call.
All it will take for Luke Young to feel wanted and encourage a positive atmosphere is a quick call to tell him he is not a forgotten man. I think this new introduction of a different approach with the players will really pay off on the pitch | |
