So you know for a fact all Jones said was simply airing his views, i take it you know it wasn't a personal attack on Coleman, as i said ill reserve judgement until i hear the FACTS unlike others whos only opinion is based on the view from rose coloured specs, if Coleman sees the "airing of views" sufficient enough to send him home and strip him of the captaincy id guess your assumption is way off the mark? With reference to your comments about Coleman accepting responsibility its called good management and detracting the pressure from certain players, a blind man on a galloping horse could see we were relegation certs weeks before he was even appointed, the foundations where set in place after the wizard that is Steve Eyre began his masterclass in management
It's childishly simplistic to heap the entire blame for this season on Eyre; to do so is to risk history repeating itself in future with even more disastrous effects.

The appointment of Eyre was made in good faith, if not due diligence. That aspect has been covered. The man himself was clearly out of his depth, re-iterrated by his new coaching position. He is not to blame for losing COG, but he is for practically everything else during his tenure. To blame an inept manager is not childish, not learning from the mistakes made would be.
YOU do not have the right to give someone else permission to tell me what I can and can't do.

If an organisation is in the position whereby it can be destroyed by one injudicious appointment, then it needs to take a long, hard look at its business practices.

Jones' performances on the pitch this season have been on a par with Eyre's management. No room for sentiment in a relegation battle. Unfortunately there was too much this season.

I would expect all parties concerned to shake hands on Monday and get on with the job of rebuilding our football club.
I'm saying no more.
Who the bloody hell is this Bell bloke anyway ? He is JC assistant but already i am fed up of hearing his name, if what i have heard is true and its hearsay so i dont want to repeat it then Jonah was right to voice his opinion. This season just lurches from bad to worse !!

I'd expect Bell to Scotch any rumours and just get on with his job.

Put "Sky Understand" infront of it, that way you can put it on here and never get in trouble if it isn't true. At least we'll might have a clue what has gone on then :o)

To be honest Ralph i have heard so many different versions of events that i dont know what to believe. Its a sad day though when our captain and record appearance man is sent home and doesnt even attend the game. He deserves a lot better than that and i would think it is completely out of character for him not to support the manager.

Jones has been a bit of a minx lately by all accounts.

Coleman on Jones' absence when asked on GMR: wanted to try a different formation, not a slight on Gary Jones, he's been a fantastic player for the club and can be for the next couple of years.
Coleman didn't say at which club they might be at though!!

Be interesting to see how all this pans out but the manager has to be in charge. Coleman will have seen players not putting their full effort in and will undoubtedly be very angry. I hope it is not the end for Jones but it is far more important that next season sees a team all pulling in the same direction.

For good or ill, few people have more autocratic power than the manager of an English professional football club. We saw this when Parkin set his cap against Paddy, a potentially priceless asset of infinitely more long-term value to the club than the manager. In the hundred-or-so-year history of the club, only in the last five has the manager been of more value than the players they often chose to overlook.

Good point. It has to be that way though.

Going off slightly on a tangent, did we miss Jones today?
At times, yes I think we did. We needed someone to get hold of the game and shake us from our lethargy. In the end though, no. Tutte showed a lot of Jonah's good qualities today.

I would build our future side around Tutte. He has leadership qualities and a great work rate. He's also young enough to take the team forward for seasons ahead.
(He also has a scouse accent )

Ten years from now we'll be asking why he's never subbed or rested.

Fully agree. The irony of Barrow signing Jones, and Eyre signing Tutte isn't lost on me, and augurs well.
Cant understand why people feel as though Jonah should get a free pass to say or do as he pleases, YES he has been a great servant to this club and is no doubt, the greatest to play for the club, but i will back the manager all the way when asked to choose between the two.
If jonah can not fully commit to JC and what he is trying to do here, then he should be shown the exit door at the first opportunity.
Leader of the little gang of immature cretins.
