The right team won. Our defence was horrendous and our goalkeeping even worse but you were stronger than us in every position on that pitch!!
I didn't see any trouble other than a few of our 'youth' goading you lot before the match. If there was any trouble then the less mongy section of our fans (which includes me:)) apologise profusely.
Grimes and Ball are tremendous signings for you. Akpo Akpa was sensational!!! We made him look like the black messi which really pissed me off because he was crap for Grimsby!!!! I wish Jones was a Bury player!!!
We were soft in the tackle. This is inexcusable for a derby and you lot were more up for it. Nicky Adams is an immature little rat for his celebration, but in his defence he got a hard time from Bury fans when he was at Gigg Lane. He was often booed whilst at Bury by our infamous mong section, he would of got stick yesterday. He reacted. He's human!
Well played, you thoroughly deserved the win. I think It will be a tough season for both of us but you have two star players that we do not. Ball and Grimes. Hope we both stay up.
I would have expected 2,000 Dale fans to turn up but you were loud. I particuarly liked the "Sodje's got malaria" chants. That did tickle me! A rare smile during 90 minutes of despair haaa!
Good luck for the season. The banter between Bury and Dale fans on these message boards and Y3K when I was younger was legendary. Hope that continues now I am re-signed up for this shizzle. |  |
