But how would that go down an ex Pompey player managing our club.

I'd take him. I don't care about the Pompey stuff. What's the problem with someone deserting the blue few and being on our side?
Look what he did at B'mouth with a squad that Scott Parker said weren't anywhere good enough for the PL. This year he was unlucky with the fixtures they had to start with. Not saying he'd rescue us but he'd probably do a decent job. | | | |
