If you cant see that public school boy Farage would be on the side of the coal mine owners in bygone days then i cant help you. Remember in 2016, Farage said vote for me, vote for Brexit, stop immigrants. Result - lots more immigrants. Fraud of a man.

Could this be the beginning on 01:24 - Dec 14 with 614 views | Robbie | The Welsh vote will always be Labour irrelevant of any outsiders trying to change ideas . The Labour red rossette even worn by a monkey on the rostrum would get in as my late father used to say , he was a Trade Unionist as was I too . Wales will never change going forward now , youngsters not bothered to go to the voting booth on Election Day , in their eyes a waste of time and why bother they are all the same. Question will be who now cares about Politics and Politicians , not many it seems . Politicians are not exactly making themselves popular either . Claiming for all the expenses available to them including covering second home heating bills , nice one . Conservatives or Reform governing Wales , not holding breath waiting . That cosy club on Tiger Bay , The Senedd would self implode if drastic voting changed .

Like all new party's I wouldn't expect much different but for those who dismiss them you do so at your peril ( a bit ott maybe but the truth is they seem to be the party on the up.) For far too many years the same old battle between Labour & the Torys have been fought with the outcome the same , the same penalties imposed on the voter , the same punishments meted out. Who knows what they can or cannot do but one things for certain that cannot be said of Labour or the Conservatives .

Established political parties are getting very nervous as are their staunch supportes, as they should be. Dismiss Reform at your peril, people have had enough of the current parties and will vote for change, it will happen. The Senedd elections will see a massive breakthrough and Reform will have a major say in the next Welsh parliament, possibly as the major party. The thought of a Labour coalition will only push voters away from the parties concerned, Labour in Wales are now a busted flush and other parties won't go near them as seen with the budget vote. There is a massive change in Welsh politics just around the corner, the Welsh population have had enough.

Personally I would say people in Wales have had enough of the lies, deceit and most of all the lack of listening by the major parties. Public services that the Senedd control are a shambles. They are looking for change and see Reform as the only option. It's not what Reform will do, it's more a protest vote. People really have had enough in Wales.

Think the tempting thing is that they are not conservative or labour both of whom have been disasters for wales

There's going to be a massive anti Labour vote at the next election, people have had enough. And the way Starmer has started is not helping at all

That is exactly the point. Until Labour supporters accept this they are doomed to fail. Conservatives and Plaid in Wales accept this an are trying to adapt, but it is to late for 18 months time.

I wouldn't be surprised if they went on a "let the people choose" ticket in Wales, offering a vote on abolishing the Senedd and handing power back to Westminster. If this was successful for them they would go into the next GE as the party delivering what voters want. [Post edited 14 Dec 9:52]

That would indeed be interesting. Living away I’ve not really got a strong opinion on devolution so I keep a keen eye if that did happen.

Everywhere you go people are complaining about labour and the Senedd. I was at a social event yesterday and people I met for the first time were complaining when the subject came up. I just kept quiet and listened. It's the best way to get a general consensus of opinion without people agreeing with you.

People of the Uk were complaining about the last govt too, They were complaining about the EU until they got Brexit, which they are complaining about now. They will complain about whoever is in power. They do not know what they want and won't be happy under any circumstances

Sorry you forgot to mention the 9 Labour cabinet/front benchers who have themselves attended private schools out of 27 ministers... You even had a Labour MP in the last parliament John Spellar who went to the same school as Farage ( Dulwich) So much for our working class hero Labour MP's.. [Post edited 14 Dec 14:00]
