Obafemi is a disgrace to allow himself to pile the pounds to that extent although with clubs top heavy now with a back room staff that includes coaches, sports scientists, performance analysts as well as team managers and assistants Im not sure how it’s been allowed to happen at Plymouth. What condition was he in when he got there on loan as you’d like to think that Plymouth wouldn’t have signed him (on loan) if he wasn’t fit enough. | |

You can’t of course but I’d suggest that the staff at Plymouth are not doing their jobs properly. There will or should be constant monitoring and assessment by staff of player fitness levels and that includes weight and body fat. This is not the Dog & Duck Pub team. Plymouth and Rooney need to be offering a detailed explanation as a fit and firing Obafemi can keep them in the Championship. | |
