I don't think Jenkins would have appointed Bradley.
It was down to the major owners at the time.

I remember some former board members being very unhappy with the appointment at the time.

You have forgotten the real bad old days clearly. Levien and Kaplan backed Huw and he messed up. It was his fault not theirs. He was backed after they negotiated a staggering £57m for Sigi and Ashley.

Two play offs. There were budget controls. Managers left because of a tight budget. Potter and Cooper wasted almost close on a £1billon at their new clubs and both got sacked. Fans then say it was not their fault for wasting a kings ransom of a budget.

Cooper declined to fulfill ahis contract with a tight budget. He sulked at not getting Keinan Davis after ignoring Gyorkeres and Whittaker. The grass is always greener.. Like Potter who signed Asoro for £2m having not realized he already had Dan James who was a lot better.

Blooming heck, have you hert your neck doing all those U turns?

You used to defend HJ and the other "sellouts"

You used to defend Levein and Kaplan.

The King is dead, long live the King...you change allegiances very quickly considering how "loyal" you have been to the previous majority owners. You were their biggest fan until...

PS, Cooper didn't really ignore Whittaker who only arrived here 1st February 2021 with 3 months of the season left. Cooper leaving soon after the seasons end.

I agree with you..Bradley was not the problem. The signings of Borja Baston for £15m was. Clement was weak and w could have blocked some of Huws choices like Clucas Bony and Ayew 2. Who knows.Bradley night have been stronger in rejecting these players and working with a powerful chairman.. Brendan had the kudos because he knows the football landscape. Monk accepted por players as a rookie.
