Wrexham on 20:37 - Apr 22 by Ohyeah | Well done Wrexham.... Paul Mullin every time I see him playing always gives 110% and never stops & scores some wonderful goals... I would like to see him given a chance with the Wales senior team.. |
He is currently out of the squad with our own Liam Cullen preferred. Liam with 8 goals at a higher this season is doing well but with the greatest respect Mullin looks the better player to me. Cullen has never scored those sort of long range goals so consistently and does not pull defences around like Mullin does. Cullen is far from the finished article and can with coaching improve speed, strength heading movement and work rate. I would expect him, all being well, to be a much better rounded player in another 3-4 years when at Mullin's age. No one knew Mullin when he was 23. This was said about Mullin when he was roughly Cullen's age. On 27 June 2017, Mullin joined League two club Swindon Town for an undisclosed fee. Mullin was well regarded by fans for his hard-working approach but goals were hard to come by; which led to his departure after only one season [Post edited 23 Apr 2023 1:25]

Wrexham on 03:12 - Apr 23 with 1437 views | DJack | Persoanally, I'm not a fan of them as historically, they hate us. But it is hilarious to see the haters attack them for reasons that I can't fathom. I suspect that if you challenged many of these people with their tacit support of the likes Chelsea, Notts Forest, Man City, newcastle etc they will fail to see the hypocrisy...the utter carrots.

I live 30 mins away. Most Gigs support Everton !Liverpool and Man Utd. Wrexham like all former welsh industrial towns is massively Anglo. Trust me,Iused to supervise the countless coaches to the Liverpool grounds They come from Holyhead and by pass Wrexham en route Small villages around Wrexham ,like Rhos, have welsh speaking. In any case,so bluddy what What does language have to do with supporting a team

It's easy to 'support' a big team, you know that you are in the limelight most of the time plus you have a good chance of winning a trophy.

Notts County will be pig sick if they don’t get promotion. The owners have pumped in £15 million. At least Wrecsam, whatever they spend, will get it back in sales of all sorts. A clever model.

Personally I think Wrexham will quickly go from the team everyone loves to the one they dislike due to over exposure.

Without looking, how many can name two players who have been with them all season? Now name two owners. They remind me of US Hollywood guests on UK talkshows .. it's all about them. Bursting in on an interview to demand a shirt! Either carefully staged or just plain self aggrandising and ignorant?

For balance they have helped many local causes and people in need. I am no fan of the model, but the two guys appear decent blokes to me. And i think they will go up next season with momentum and resources.

Who cares if it seems to be all about them, we only see the news in the papers and on the tele, we don't see what they do behind the scenes. Ateotd they have raised the profile of the club massively and I am well chuffed for them.
