Match Thread: Dale v Hartlepool on 14:31 - Dec 26 with 9951 views | isitme | It is a very strange line up. Again we look light in midfield and slow up top. Having no Brierley or Kelly in the squad leaves us without a passer in midfield. Maybe an even more simplified game plan today. I wonder if Brierley has been sold and we will find out when the window reopens.

JB did say in his interview that a player got injured in training so i assume it is Brierley as JB also said todays game is to early for Kelly and Campbell is back in training..

It's not always just down to terrible defending. Sometimes you have to give credit for a quality delivery and header.....the sort of which we rarely, if ever manage ourselves.

Match Thread: Dale v Hartlepool on 16:23 - Dec 26 with 9021 views | electricblue | To many stray passes. To many short passes Odoh offers nothing. Lloyd nedds a few more matches to get into the game. John is shocking. Malley offers nothing. Feel sorry for Nelson playing along the sides of John. Henderson is a last 30mins man....

Yep! That and any point about the tactics being wrong are way off the mark, it’s up to the players to step up and play within the framework. Since half time they have and it’s an old school 4-4-2 being used to get forward and wide.

First half was very bad. For half an hour in the second we were fine. They came back into it and scored an excellent winner and after that we did nowt. I’m all for calling out rubbish when it’s rubbish. In general we are, but for a time there was some hope as a limited group found a way to look like one who could get a result. They should be thoroughly ashamed of their last two performances but I bet they won’t be. Cash in now lads because most of you won’t be playing full time next season. [Post edited 26 Dec 2022 17:06]

Match Thread: Dale v Hartlepool on 17:05 - Dec 26 with 8346 views | jfmolyneux | Dale exile living down south, who tuned into today on iFollow. Wow. This is the worst Dale team I've ever seen. Went to watch us away at Sutton and was very unimpressed, but that first half today was mind-boggling stuff. Even in the Steve Eyre era (granted it was L1) we had a couple of players who were at least occasionally capable of moments of quality. A past-it Hendo and Brierley aside, this is truly the most talentless, unintelligent squad I've ever seen at Dale, by a country mile. We are thoroughly dreadful from back to front.
